What the hell is going on with the voting?

My problem is my stories are too long to allow me to be prolific(well I could do the Freddie thing and take 10k stories and make them 3 chapters to make it look like I write a lot more than I do:rolleyes:)

That and I fail to see why I should really push to write something I have no interest in. Many see that as a challenge and if that works for them that's great, but my time is limited and I don;t feel like wasting it on "Hmm wonder if I could write a GM story?" Could I? Maybe, but, again, why? Just to say I did?

Survivor has gotten me to spread out a little more, but I have no illusions I'm filling out that scorecard.
Yes. I write for the fun of it. I don't want to write something I won't enjoy writing just to say I did it.

Another, possibly more appropriate, way of looking at the statistics, though, is that I have 139 stories covering 22 separate categories under this account name that are not GM. How many other authors here have 139 stories, let alone spread over 22 categories (and have not been playing in the Survivor's contest)?

I did say earlier you had more stories than lovecraft68. You don't need to tell me, 139 stories is an incredibly immense undertaking. You should feel proud in that & your awards. My mentioning that they are GM stories are not to diminish your hard work.

You do what you do well, and he'll do what he does well, and you too will meet in the middle. The middle being Literotica.

I wasn't comparing myself to him or anyone else, just making a point for myself as I'm the only person I can truly speak for.

I've been here 4 years and haven't hit 100 stories yet, but Its not a concern, lit is not a competition(outside of contests) people are here for a variety or reasons with different goals and purpose. It's all good.

Your the only person I could compare him with, that I thought we both knew. I meant no malice.

That's interesting, big time apples and oranges there. No offense taken, BTW I was just clarifying.

Yes you're an "incest" specialist and he's a "same gender sex" specialist, two very different passions. I read one of your stories a while ago. It was creative, a mother dies and her son has a seance and has sex with her through the body of his blonde female friend. That was creative & it was very well written, a great story. However for me parent sibling incest doesn't appeal to my core, but still I saw the merit in your tale.

So, did someone post here that they wrote stories they didn't enjoy writing? ;)

It's fun to see Lovecraft68 dance around the fact that he has denigrated my writing and compared my stats--not just on Literotica but also in the marketplace--unfavorably to his for years on the board, though. And anyone who has read the forum regularly for the last couple of years knows that.

Taking a break to collect popcorn and a coke.

Does it really matter now? It seems like he's trying to be nicer.

Sort of. I noticed that. But facts are facts. I don't mind leaving it as it is.

I agree with J. Kendall, by the way, that GM doesn't seem to get treated badly on Literotica. I don't get hate mail on mine (or only rarely do) either as comments on the stories or in e-mails. However, that doesn't really have anything to do with an individual's stories being specifically trolled.

As it should be, Literotica is an erotic story site. GM stories are clearly marked, you know what your getting right out of the gate. Those who go out of there way to attack or ridicule those for writing there are most likely dealing with issues of denial, or bisexual curiosity, religious crusaders or not.
