What you do on waking up...

Preferably roll over and go back to sleep. Perhaps repeat, perhaps read, but eventually get up and go pee. The way I figure it, as a farm boy, and as a farmer, I spent too much of my life as a slave to a schedule because domestic animals are creatures of habit. There were other jobs after that where my boss set my schedule. What's the point of early retirement if you can't defy schedules? Schedules and routines are for people who want or need to be productive. I want to do things I feel like doing. Why can't my days be different from each other? More often than not my motivation for getting up is because it will help my sinuses drain and feel better. Shave? I'll get around to it sometime this week. And another thing. I eat what and when I feel like eating. I don't just eat because I can't make time later. Eating on a schedule is what made those farm animals grow big and fat fast. You know what else I don't do as a retiree? Keep a log for my vehicle.

Depends.

If it was my ERT, SRT, DT Pager that woke me up, all I do is throw on clothes and go.

If I woke up normally, then I stretch and yawn before having my coffee, then brushing my teeth and starting on the day.

Reach down , stroke my cock for a little bit, then pee so i can enjoy stroking it more !!

Stretch. Decide whether to get up at all. Usually do. Go pee. Raise the blinds to let in morning sun for my plants. Back to bed; it's too bright though, pulling the blanket over my head only works for a few minutes. Check mail on cell. Get up a second time, brush teeth, negotiate to kitchen, make coffee. Enjoy breakfast in kitchen unless housemate is there as well. If so, repair with coffee and brekky to my room and fire up the PC and some tunes.

Get up, go pee, go to the kitchen and make coffee, bring coffee back to bed, check my phone for messages and reply to messages.

Instead of lovetoread's thread, here is one about just your morning routine.

For me:

I get up, wash, clean my teeth, take my blood sugar reading for diabetes II, take four pills, crawl downstairs. Take seven more pills with my breakfast, jab long-acting insulin into myself, and only then am I ready to face the day..
Same here only, I daydream of getting an erection because diabetics get ED. I haven't had an erection for about 16 or 17 years. My doctor just got me a prescription for Cialis. Now I can look forward to having wood for about 24 to 36 hours. From one extreme to another.

Stretch and sometimes if I am feeling especially daring I yawn.

Slide out of bed when I wakeup.
Turn coffee on.
Pee. Sometimes shower. Other times shower later.
Dress sometimes, other times stay in underwear.
Turn on i-Pad and phone, check weather.
Have a look outside for 1/2 minute.
Drink 2 mugs of coffee while on internet new sites. Rarely any breakfast, no pills needed.
Then, ready for the day; bit of shopping, walk in the parks.

Sean: Isn't this a really dumb thread? The only time I see it is when I get a new alert!

To answer the question today,
My wife is very handicapped, advanced spinal scoliosis; I help her to & from the bathroom, get her comfortable in her living room chair, tv is already on, get coffee for both of us. We are both retired. I'm diabetic T2, so I test before breakfast, eat my oatmeal (no sugar) take oral meds 3 times a day.
❤ Wait on my wife throughout the day for her every wish. It's fucking cold outside now, so wait till it warms up to see what she wants to do! Gonna see what going on, on Chaos.

You're a top man, sir.

When I awake and depending what time and day it is, I switch my phone on to read my messages if any from LIt here. I lie in bed wearing one of my nighties. If it's a college day, I have little time, but at weekends I stay in bed until mom calls me to get up, if she knows I am awake. I sometimes rub myself a little, but then I am up to pee. Jane x x x

You sound like a young person. But when you get to be 68, everything slows down and its harder to get hard!

Pee
start the coffee
do some stretching
kook out the slider to check the weather
toss my t shirt in the wash
pour coffee
get dressed
go for a run or bike ride
from there it varies

Start the coffee pot, go pee, and on work days shower. After that I pour coffee and make breakfast. Today is Sunday so I'll just lounge around in my PJ's all day unless my guy friend cums over. Oh, and spend some time on Lit as you can see!! lol

It's amazing how ingrained some routines can become. The essentials are still unchanged from basic training, almost forty years gone now, though they are now accompanied by a reliable chorus of groans and cussing.

Kill the alarm, out of bed, peak out at the day's weather (and check the street for zombies; you binge four seasons of the Walking Dead apparently it leaves a mark), into the bathroom, vacate, morning ablutions (the Four Ss), dress, bowl of cereal (maybe a donut on occasion), check messages, check the meteorologist professional guess, collect the appropriate kit, out the door.

Go to the bathroom
Start coffee
Check my email
Login to Lit and look around while drinking my coffee
Take a shower
Go to work

If I've had to set an alarm, I reflexively yell "Fuck!" (a holdover from the years of working shitty jobs and hating to wake up for them). If no alarm I sit up and usually manage to get one sock on before I begin sneezing for anywhere from three to five minutes straight.
