Hi,
I am sooooo curious as to what young guys see in us older women. I think I am in good shape for late 40's and except for a bust that is too big I am doing ok. But that is nothing compared to the young hot girls that are in their 20's. So why do I get so many pm's and even loks, etc on the street. What do young guys see in us old girls?

As a young man (22) whos attracted to older women, I think older women are better than young women in their early 20s because the older women know what they want and most aren't still out sowing their wild oats like the younger women, plus the older women will have experience and show the young man things he hasn't experienced sexually.

The other guys are exactly right. Older women play fewer games and know just what they want. They have no fear in telling you exactly what they want and like the previous posts, they can teach few things too. An older woman who dresses and feels sexy is just hot for so many reasons the biggest of which is confidence. I know women like a confident man and I think it is true for the reverse.

It could be a sexual thing but it likely isn't about sex in general.

I am not for wishy washy people and younger girls? Well.. I tried that once and quite frankly it wasn't worth the trouble so I learned early on that I like older girls/women compared tot hose who might be considered in my age bracket.

As such, every girl/woman I've ever dated/been with has been older than me by a few years to nearly double my age to my current g/f that's 5 years older.

I don't play head games. I think they accomplish nothing. I don't like or respect dishonesty, for much the same reason. And I don't do bullshit. I also don't fake orgasms.

I know what I want, and I'm very blunt about asking for it, showing my partners. I've taught ALL of my partners something new, even my first partner.. I'm just creative in bed like that, and good at what I do, and willing (hungry is more like it) to try new things.

I'm 22 years old. I'm a young woman, but I know what I want, when I want it, how I want it.. and am perfectly happy to give up control and let my partner just go wild with me. I don't have hangups like many people of all ages do, and I'm very open to new things.

I know a lot of young women who are very similar.


My point here, is that not ALL young women play games, and not all of us are bullshitters, and not all of us have confidence issues, or are shy, or whatever the hell you're getting at. Many are, yes. But I also know many older women who have ALL of those same problems. So while I understand that men might be interested in an older woman for the reasons listed, I think maybe some kind of qualifier like "most, or most that I've been with" should be used when discussing younger women.

You'll notice my qualifier in that I say I tried the younger girl route before and it was not worth my trouble.

What I said can be easily applied to older women as well. I did generalize based on my experience of younger girls. It's not 100% but on what I see? It's pretty damn acurate.

Don't take offence... take pride in that you are on of the rare younger girls who has their head on straight

However, they do apply to a lot of the younger crowd. Of course another thing is the whole Oedipal complex but that is more on the subconscious level. Just throwing that out there so let me know what you think.

The Oedipal complex... man, am I glad to hear someone else knows what that means.. *smile* I've studied the Oedipus Rex myth many more times than once, with my degree studies, as well as all of the implications of it (briefly, at least)... and that's a really good point to bring up in a thread like this...

I really enjoyed reading the play and I have to admit that Freud was a very smart guy. A lot of his theories make a lot of sense and I do think that the older woman thing does come from wanting to completley have your mother. On the same note, it is nice to see that I didn't have to explain it to everyone here either so thanks for getting my point. I haven't studied it in depth or anything but I know a little bit about it. Thanks for the back up though.

Personally, I think there are far more attractive, lovely women out there than not. I used to have the shallow, narrow mindset of only certain women were pretty. Then when I hit 18 or 19, my views and tasted really matured. What makes Jane across the street "not as pretty as supermodel X?" Pushy advertising and the shallow tastes of the people who push it. I have met women who at first glance I didn't notice a lot, but then as I paid attention, were just as pretty as a model but people don't market on it because it's not what society says is pretty, which can be really fickle.

Some women just have eye-catching features Elise, and it sounds like you are one of them. I personally am more attracted to a woman who is more mature, more like a woman than a girl. Of course there are younger women out there who have that quality. To me a woman most women get prettier as they get older. Mid 30's to 40's to me is the prime, women usually still have the youthful look but with a more wisened appearance. I just wish more women grew into maturity without having to go through the shit heads.

Attitude has a lot to do with it too. If you are friendly, guys will be friendly. If you are snooty or uppity, then guys will tend to respond the same. I personally know more friendly 30's on up women than I do friendly 21 on down women. That's just my experience, not everyone's. Just watch out, a lot of guys who respond friendly-like to friendly women usually just have bedding on their minds, rather than the joy of getting to know this person. I am just as horny as any other guy and I don't understand why they can't treat a woman like a lady, rather than a tool for their pleasure and ego. I am going off on a tangent here
