Lazy Summer Day

Today was an especially mellow day for me. My wife and daughter are both off for the summer, and we mostly stayed at home today. My wife has been doing some artwork recently, and I scanned several of her finished pieces for posting.

In the morning I cooked eggs for my daughter and I and, later, made a grilled tuna sandwich for my wife.

We have two dogs, and one hurt his dewclaw last week. We took him to the vet, just to make sure there wasn't any serious trauma. They told us that he's about 5 lbs overweight, so that means I'll have to exercise him more regularly.

After that, we picked up some dinner at a local restaurant (asian chicken skewers, rice, salad, and a thai spicey beef salad) then went to see the new Harry Potter movie, which I quite enjoyed. For those of you who are planning to see it, but haven't, Dumbledore dies.

Just kidding!

FYI, our dogs like cashews, even unsalted ones.

Anyhoo, I'm really excited about a movie that's opening on the 27th, mostly because I bare a striking resemblence to the main character:

Your pictures are wonderful. I loved all the different looks from freckles , black and white and the pink series was my favorite. You showed your playful side in the bath pics, loved pic called little ass. There was amazing kaleidoscope of colors, textures and light and shadow in this wonderful journey of moments caught in film. Thank you for sharing your beauty. I see in profile you paint. Sorry I didn't post anything last night, I really just passed out before I could even sign on, ended up with a keybord printed into my forehead this morning! If only I could get a picture of that huh?! ah!

Well as for my painting, I only have one picture of a painting of mine and it has a terrible do it yourself watermark over it. Mom's are terribly overprotective but I like it all the same. It's my first watercolor and I've loved doing it since, has become my primary media... oh well, enjoy it all the same.
