OOC: Ive never done online RP before (as you can probably see) but i'll try anything twice. I have a vage idea of which way i hope the story will take, but i'm sure it will work out whatever way it goes.
Char Desc: Laura is a baby faced 18 year old, from London, England. She has long, curly blonde hair, blue eyes, and freckles across her nose. She has a naturally curvy figure, but kept herself in very good shape playing tennis. She ran away from home after failing her GCSE's and is now in America. She has very little money, and is not very experienced in the ways of the world, not that she'd ever admit it!
IC:
Opening my purse, i grimaced when i saw how empty it was. I'd only been in the city for two days, and had spent most of my money on a room in the cheapest hotel i could find. This bloody country was so expensive!
I wandered around, answering Help Wanted signs in grimy windows. Still, as i had no address, and no phone, i was kinda hoping for a job on the spot. Might as well try to find a needle in a hay stack.
Wrapping my leather jacket tighter around me, i shivered. The sudden chill reminded me that i needed to find a place for the night. I ignored the hotels, there was no way i could afford one again, and made my way into the dingier side of town. Hurrying along quickly, trying to keep out the cold, i wondered how the girls on the corner could wear so little. Seeing yet another one get into a car i congratulated myself on not sinking that low.
Seeing a motel nearby i went in. A greasy looking, balding guy sat at the counter. I said that i'd like a room.
"You one of Jimmy's girls?" he asked, leering at me.
I shook my head, and he grinned.
"Its normally seventy dollars a night but, for a pretty little thing like you i'll settle for sixty."
I handed over the cash and he gave me a key, grabbing hold of my hand as he did so. "We could always come to some other arrangement, whaddaya think?" Snatching my hand back, i half ran up the stairs, hearing him roar with laughter behind me.
I dumped my bag in my room. Room? I'd seen bigger bathrooms!
Well, now i had a place to stay, for a while at least, now all i needed was a job. With that in mind, once again i headed out...
