The dork/nerd in me wanted to know what time it was in the DR and I found this page that gives time and forecast - now all we need to do is hijack a KH-11 spy satellite and scan the beaches for a pale white woman with dark hair beach combing (she'd be mortified).

I'd imagine that at some point she's gonna have to take a long nap seeing how she was up late Tuesday night and up early to fly out. I doubt she'da slept on the flight with all the excitement/nervousness pent up inside her.

Anyway.. now we can know what time it is there (basically she's in the Atlantic Time Zone which isn't too bad to adjust to - Dallas is one hour behind in the Central Time Zone - adjusting for Daylight Savings)

So she's probably getting back from a morning walk on the beach and going to have some sort of lunch made up of native fruits and other sorts dishes. No hamburgers as the price of beef would be prohibitive for just casual cooking (it would have to be imported from somewhere).
