The answer to "What's in VA?" is cold weather. Damn, I just can't believe this weather. Had the heat onn all the way in to work and then have it on in the office. When is the warm weather coming?

I just want to get in bed and cuddle with a warm lady and make love all day. Now that would keep me warm.

Im also in Eastern VA, born and raised around the Williamsburg area. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one around here.

Quite frankly, its rather hard to find people around here, because Williamsburg is mainly full of uppity college students and very old tourists. On top of that many are somewhat intimidated by my height, standing in at 6'7". So, if any of the ladies out there ( Don't have to be nearby, but its always nice ) want to talk (Hey, its a start!) feel free to message me anytime. I'm shy at first, so be gentle.

I open up pretty quickly, just may take some convincing, after that, nothing is taboo.

There are certain things in life everyone should experience, and I'm afraid I'm falling behind, someone help me!

Good Morning Nice guy. I couldn't help but notice your height. I am sure that can be a problem sometimes. I am sure you get people that ask you all the time how tall you are. I met a guy down in Mississippi one time that was 6'9" and he had a very good come back immidiately when someone asked his height. He would immediately say, "I'm 5'21" and you?" He said more often than not they would stamer around with and answer because they were trying to do the math to actually see what his height is. It usually got the message to them that he was tired of people making such a big deal about something he had no control over.

Maybe you might want to try it the next time someone askes your height. Say, I'm 5'19", and you?" Just see what they say.

Just thought I would relate that story.

Hehe, I usually get "How tall are you?" followed quickly by "You play Basketball?" almost 100% of the time...

I just turn a stereotype back on them, for example.

Random Race/gender person: "How tall are you."
Me: 6'7"
Random Race/gender person: "You play basketball?"
Me: You like watermelon/flied lice/alcoholism/[insert more here, depending on person]?"

Works every time, because most people usually hate being stereotyped, and so do I. =) Granted, playing basketball isnt a bad thing, but assuming I do something just because the way I look is annoying. =P

As for fun, well, hard to say....been living in this area my whole life, and I've pretty much seen and done almost all there is to do around here. Truth be told I'm just a "hang out" kinda guy. What we're doing isn't important, as long as we can make it fun.

Being stuck in this area has limited my exposure to new things, so I'm always open to suggestions.

As I was reading these replys I was just thinking. I came to VA 40 years ago last month, as a married teenager with a newborn baby girl. Little did I know I would be here 40 years later, still married to the same woman and taking care of all the kids of the baby girl from back then. My how time flies when you are having fun, LOL.
