For subs who are away from their Dom/mes - for littles and Caregivers in particular - how do you deal with the separation when you're feeling needy?

I like the idea of a box or a basket filled with a collection of items to ease the stress. (I like this idea for littles without partners, too).

I'm working on a list for my 'Daddy Box' right now. :cathappy: What's in yours?

Daddy box....

Hmm..
Daddy box..

Well, you must first *have* a Daddy to experience separation anxiety from him.., so..Not a necessity here.

My peace of mind comes with yard work. I can let my house go for days, but I like being outside, figuring out a way to get the ground to give me something useful.. Like fruits, veggies, honey...

I have little window sill projects....Sweet potato slips, seedlings, etc

And my music.

Self-care. Yes.

That's what we're really talking about. Feeding our bodies, minds and souls.

Glad you're here.

When She leaves

sissy first has Her attach ankle and wrist restraints and take the keys with Her. :(
Then sissy attaches 1 foot chain connecting ankle restraints with a 2 pound ball connected with a 2 foot chain to the middle of the 1 foot chain. ;)
sissy then attaches an 18 inch chain between the wrist restraints. :)
sissy then She inserts a penis gag and locks it in place. :D
sissy places all keys in ice trays in the freezer.
If She is gone for several days, sissy removes gag to eat once a day until She returns. :rose:

A small silver bell on a black satin ribbon. Meow.

A tube of coconut-lime body cream.

A pair of polka-dot panties. He likes me in polka-dots. ;)

I think Miles had a point. I would probably stuff such a box full of intense reality-warping drugs to take my mind off...er, everything, I guess...and use them until the person returned.

Hm. I didn't take him seriously. I see now that I should have. Thank you.

I asked a friend yesterday what she does when her person is gone and she said this:

Cry
Sleep
Message them
Masturbate
Cake
Bath
Tea

I was definitely not serious about the cocaine!

About 5 years ago, he traveled a lot for work. It was very hard on me. He would leave small, little presents hidden throughout the house. They weren't expensive things but cute and fun. It made me feel special to find them, open them, to know that he loved me and wanted me to be less sad when he was gone.

What can I say? I like presents. haha

As for self care....yoga, meditation, long walks, playing with the dog. Anything that could be a distraction for my longing.

I second having a shirt that smells like him. There are many other things that can be included. A letter from him would be great to include. Teas, lotions, candles, bath salts, bath bombs, colors and coloring pages, a playlist of music, a particular movie, etc. Exercise and other hobbies that have been mentioned like gardening can be helpful too. Basically, taking time to take care of yourself even if it's only for ten minutes is what matters.
