A Republican is a former Democrat whose child was sent home from public school early because he had an American flag book marker.

I'm waiting on whether Republicans will be able to re-enable corporations to rescind coverage and all those other horrors that you pray every day to see come back.If you give it a B-, why aren't you selling health insurance?
Do you really think they give a flying fuck, seriously, after all, they do make a few bucks more than the average joe.

I learned some time ago that professionals pay state income tax where they work, not just where the team is based.
In other words, Yankees playing in Anaheim against the Angels have to pay California state income tax for their pro-rated salary for the season.
It's all a wash, of course, because their state income tax is only for pay earned in home games.
As for the original point, pro golfers are overwhelmingly Republican. Never seen anything for NBA, NFL or MLB.
Health insurance companies were never able to rescind coverage for no good reason. They have always been heavily regulated by the states. Most of the arguments for the new health care law were bogus.
This is true.
But that goes along with the equivalent right-wing chant about unscrupulous lawyers making millions of dollars filing frivolous lawsuits. Ever wonder how one gets rich taking a percentage of a frivolous lawsuit? * one eyebrow raised *
I haven't read enough about it to fully understand the issue, but there is talk that clinics specifically set up to help low-income families might lose a lot of funding thanks to ObamaCare.
The irony of losing health care in order to have health insurance is rich.

Uh, yes they have been rescinding coverage for no good reason.Health insurance companies were never able to rescind coverage for no good reason.
You should ask Le Jerque why he used to vote Republican. If you give it a B-, why aren't you selling health insurance?

I've got 3 - two by my wife and me, one adopted; and a fourth baby by "pending" adoption. Plus a home, a business, and a few lease-to-own properties, too.
I vote Democratic because they benefit the working class and a strong prosperous working class benefits my community and my business.
Lower taxes would never benefit me as much as the lower classes having a ton of assets to protect from loss.

Who exactly is the "working class"? How do they benefit them?
Guess what?
You're going to take it up the ass in taxes next year.
Adding insult to injury for their party, at least 13 Democratic state lawmakers have joined the Republican ranks since Election Day -- deepening GOP gains and in one case handing the party the state House majority.
Democrats in five states have switched parties since Nov. 2, citing concerns about the economy and the political leanings of their constituents. The defections are a troubling sign for state Democratic operations clinging to life following their election drubbing. Though Republicans' congressional gains drew more attention, the party picked up more than 675 seats at the state level last month and in some cases took over entire state capitals.
...
Alabama Rep. Alan Boothe, who has been a Democrat since he was first elected in 1998, said he aligned with the party for "historical reasons" but after this election decided to heed the call of his constituents for change. He announced his decision to join the GOP last week.
"It was not just an overnight thing," he told FoxNews.com. "It was a decision that took a lot of thought."
Boothe said the Republicans' economic message appealed to him and that he didn't want to be working against the incoming Republican governor.
...
Though not as high-profile as the GOP's congressional victories, the state wins take on outsized importance ahead of the 2012 cycle. State governments are responsible for redrawing congressional districts in accordance with the results of the 2010 Census, and the GOP now has a stronger voice in that process.
Blame Republicans for that.Guess what?

That was WELLPOINT'S assertion. Being a corporation, of course, you are inclined to believe their word at face value.Did you even read that article? Did you see how rare it is for a health insurance company to rescind a policy?
"In 2008, WellPoint's affiliated health plans rescinded one-tenth of one percent of new individual market enrollment," WellPoint said in an e-mailed statement to ABCNews.com. "While rescissions impact a very small percentage of applicants for coverage it is important to protect the majority who are honest on their applications for coverage."
Fortunately you won't. At least until the Republicans cut your welfare benefits.Guess what?

Two African-American Democrats on Thursday announced that they were joining the Republican Party.
Hall County Commissioner Ashley Bell and former state executive committee member Andre Walker said the Democratic Party had grown too liberal and they are finding a new home with the Republicans.
