What's the point?

I think the anonymity of the internet allows a person to explore their imagination in ways they could never do in real life. No matter how taboo or how perverted something may be, a person can experience it in their imagination with as chat partner without having to face someone who may be judgmental in real life. One of the obstacles is finding a chat partner who has similar interests, and doesn't leave you hanging after they get themselves off. Or someone who will ghost you the next time you come online.

With patience, you can sometimes find a steady chat partner, who not only has interests in common with you, but wants to make sure you enjoy the chat, (mutual masturbation), as much as they do. Perhaps not that often, but in some cases, online relationships turn into real life relationships.
