"What's your safe word?"

"Ummm...pineapple?" he said hesitantly. What had he gotten himself into?

'Ouch,' she thought. Then her smile spread into an evil grin.

*************

you take it from there.

based on an exchange with @Duil2 on the Furniture Cinematic Universe, which I thought deserved a home of its own, because it isn't really about furniture.

Mnemonic: Spell it once to the tune of Old MacDonald and you'll never forget it again.
Why not just use "Old MacDonald" as the safe word?
could lead to a cute conversation between the chatacters about their childhoods.

I recall reading a story here where the safeword was so complex (German?) that the narrator panicked and the dom/me didn't stop when they heard the beginning of the word.

Don't do that. That's not nice. You can be better than that.

I did see one recently though where the safe phrase was basically acknowledging the submission. Which was not my thing, but still admittedly pretty hot. Seems like that's something that could accidentally be blurted out later in the relationship though. Maybe stick with 'limerance' or 'supercalifragalisticexpialidocious' (even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious)

Is this a story featuring a tiger?

More creative or experienced people than myself could offer you many options for introducing concentration as a necessary element of play. But if a safeword isn't safe you're breaking the most important rule.
