When you favorite team looses, does it change your mood?

OK, I'm going to watch the game, because Denver play us next Sunday and they are also 5-1. I want to see whay we will have to look forward to next week.

As long as they cover the spread, I don't give a shit.

This weekend, for instance, I made the mistake of betting on the Seahawks and the Raiders, as well as a number of other complicated over/under parlays.

Going into Monday Night, I was down 460, a miserable performance for the weekend.

Like any degenerate gambler, I had to cover my losses. Against my better judgement, I bet $500 on the Bengals (the Bungles!) against the Broncos on Monday night. Getting seven, I figured they'd lose by five.

If anyone had ever told me I'd bet $500 on the Bengals, I would have told them they were on Lithium and in need of stronger medication.

Who can figure football. With the spread, they covered by twenty or so.

Put some money on the games ... when they lose and you win, it don't hurt so much.

And it makes it so much more fun to watch.
