Which story to do next?

Should I finish my partially written story regarding a milf I played with at one point or continue with my "From Her Perspective" (the perspective of the women in my life instead of me) series and make the next one about my wife?

Or should I rewrite a few of my earlier stories with more details and better cohesion?

I dunno, write whichever one is speaking most to you. Whatever project you feel most excited about, do that. That's always my philosophy when I'm not writing for money. Why force yourself to write something you aren't really that enthused by?

Fair point. I am excited for all of them for sure I just feel like some are more overdue.

If you have dice at home, you can assign each story to one of the faces, and roll to see which one to do first. It's weirdly clarifying how when it lands on something and you go "Uh... actually... I think I'll roll again" to show which stories you're actually excited about writing vs. ones you just think you are.

If you can't decide, I'm not sure why you think anyone here can assist your thought process.

What I will say is, don't rewrite anything, that's a big waste of time. You'll get much better results if you write something new, I reckon. That way you've got more content, not just a rehash of old ideas.

I mean, you can't even decide what to do with the milf story, so was it actually any good? If it was, you'd have finished it already.

I have a simple philosophy.

A story for which I've written 0 words always seems easier to write, because I haven't encountered any of the problems I'm going to discover while writing it yet.
A story for which I've written, say, 10,000 words is actually easier because I'm already 10,000 words closer to finishing it (plus editing)

Or to put it another way, however excited I am about my new story idea, I was just as excited about the half-finish draft sitting on my C: drive a few weeks ago.

I rarely actually follow this philosophy, but I can attest to it being logically sound.
