Cold hands stroked me, touched me, & then I was gripped by the neck & hurled across the room to slam into a wall. I came to & everyone was gone. Im made my way back to my room, closing & locking the door, not that it would help me any.
Ok, re-assess the situation & then make a plan.
1) I'm stuck in this house until Maddy opens it up.
2) I could try & get out, but those ghosts would probably stop me
3) if I violated any of the rules I don't get my inheritance. The money is not important to me, but the poitrate & books were.
I took off my clothes & lay down. Maybe some sleep would let me clear my head & think of something.

It had been late when I had finally crawled to the bed and fallen asleep. Hours after, after I had heard a voice whispered in my ear.
A tiny, little girls voice, but I couldn't understand what she had said. Then Shane's, then someone else's. It was a sick joke someone was playing.
