I knew I liked you for some reason.
You have a delightful twisted sense of humor.

Sometimes twisted, always bent, thats me.
I shouldn't talk to you cause you made my friends mad but I seen you didn't mean to.
I remember you from Just-Legals Newbie Thread, how you been?

Not bad. Getting ready to move again.

Been getting good responses to my stories here on lit, and just submitted and got approved the first chapter of my late half brother's final story (blatant plug :p )

Other than that, doing pretty well over all.

How about you?
What have you been up to besides mischief on the boards?

Oh, I wasn't postin much for awhile. I really do have a puppy and he thinks he is the only reason that there is LIFE, THE UNIVERSE, AND EVERYTHING. I need to join Edward, not in bed but in sleepin, not with him, maybe I should have just said I need to go to sleep, I like Edward but I don't know him THAT well. Oh well, I am tired so I'll see ya, Lisa.

And another thing! Who the fuck did actually do the anthrax?

Has there ever been an answer on that one? Or is it that we don't care about that one either?

cantdog

Um...That was me.

< blushing crimson-to-purple >

At the time, I thought "Anthrax" was a brand of jock-itch powder, like Cruex. Governor Jeb told me we were playing a joke on his brother.

You have a PUPPY?

I note with interest that the opposition laments about half the country being angry that Bush won, but never consider that if Kerry had won, half the country would still be angry, it would simply be the other half.

A minor difference, worth noting: There is now a single-party government running all three branches of government for the first time in our history. (Or will be, as soon as Justice Rehnquist is replaced, eliminating the swing vote that prevented Ashcroft from, among other things, weakening your inalienable right to defend yourself before a judge.) Remember "checks and balances?" They're history. And it couldn't happen at a more thrilling time!

A single ideology has never had this kind of power. Both halves will regret this before it's over.

Not quite.

FDR was in office long enough to load theSupreme Court with his hand-picked justices and the connivance of a Democratic congress.

He was livid when his hand-picked Justices turned out to respect the Law andConstitution more than they did him.

Eisenhower had the same problem with the Justices he appointed -- one of which was Rheinquist.

Still, I'm a bit baffled by the assertion that replacing the most conservative Justice on the SC with a possibly conservative is going to change much.

Some of the other possible vacancies might be a different story, but the SC is essentially conservative now and likely to remain so.

Pictures? I don't have one of those cameras. I got my scanner up and working by kickin it, but now my dinosaur days camera won't work. Here is a pic, he is laying down here sleepin with his nose on my tennis shoe (he likes the smell) and since he is a legend in his own mind this is probably what he is dreaming about.
