White Knights- the inceligencia.

Nice Tele…
Santa brought my youngest a Squire Bass this year. I have a Mexi-Martin acoustic and Gretsch center block Streamliner….a couple of other cheapo’s…rock on my man!

I'm all about the cheapos. Others in the stable are a Revelation electric 12, Jazzmaster shape with P90s, bought for £200 and a 1970s Epiphone Scroll

I keep a ‘72 Tele and an old tube Marshall combo I bought for my son against a wall in my office below his first Platinum record.

The Marshall has a Richard Allen 12 in it instead of the stock Celestion, has a unique tone.

I used to have some PA cabs with Allen 12s in them. Alloy baskets with 4 spokes?

Haven't seen much of Rory or Zumi lately. They must be in the throes of another kind of DT's. :D

Rorbags is lurking and running silent and deep. Unfortunately for him, he hit a like in post #78 and exposed himself again as a lying welsher.

Treating White Knight Syndrome

He needs to learn to accept that he has intrinsic worth and doesn't need to prove himself worthy by “rescuing” people. By building his confidence, he'll be reducing his neediness; that fear of rejection and abandonment comes from the belief that he has no value outside of what he can do.

DeluksOtto/Schitzoid666 could benefit from this

Lol

Things You Should Know

  • White Knight Syndrome is a strong, chronic urge to help other people, whether or not they need it, and sometimes to your own detriment.
  • White Knight Syndrome is often caused by unresolved childhood traumas or repressed emotions that make you feel like you need to be useful however you can.
  • Signs of White Knight Syndrome include intense guilt when you can’t help other people, or the tendency to offer unsolicited advice or aid.
You have a past filled with trauma or old wounds. Most often, white knights help others in an effort to gain control of their own lives after a traumatic experience in their past.
You may suffer from a history of abuse, be it verbal, sexual, or physical.
Or, you may have low self-esteem or feelings of inferiority that motivate you to try to “prove” yourself. If you haven’t examined or sought help for these

The fool still hasn't figured out that Butters stands on her own two feet.

That's the real reason why she was able to expose his insecurity and fear of women in the first place.

Lots of BetaBoi Mansplainers here speaking for their Queen’s ability to speak for herself.

And her alleged victories of yore!

Detail: they do restrain her for milking and the other services she performs, yes?

“moo” as one of the other posters is fond of saying.
Lol

Poor Immature Incel Lance can’t stop demonstrating he’s an immature incel. 😄 What a weirdo.

We still have a $100 Ibanez chinease special, that if I’m honest, plays as good as my Martin, stays in tune, and took the beatings a 10 yr old can dish out. Now handed down to his little brother, it has a tuning peg that needs a screw but it sounds great still. We have an Epiphone electric. Supposed to be a Les Paul knockoff. I’ve never warmed up to that one but the boys loved it.

That's the state of things at the mo. L-R:
Revelation RJT60-12
Squier Bullet Tele
Very hacked Epiphone Scroll (1978 or so)
Antiquity Explorer copy

I did have a H-B Les Paul copy I got for peanuts, but sold it. Despite being able to find nothing wrong with it (really nice fast set neck, OK pickups) I just couldn't gel with it.

I use the Scroll open-tuned for slide because the neck's too skinny for actual humans to play. Fitted a Duncan Phat Cat pickup that roars. The Revelation cost less than £200 (used) and is by far the best 12-string I've ever played; super fast, decently wide neck and action, good P90-alikes and a Varitone type switch for a load of different scooped sounds. The Antiquity Explorer's a house brand copy from PMT in England and is really good, again with proper set neck and is a decent visual ringer for a 58 original, although I suspect a little smaller and thinner.

I think you guys are on the money in suggesting a link between cheap knockoff guitars and the inceligencia.
