I don't know what it is about Lit. that is unattractive to black writers. In Live Journal's communities, which seem to have a smaller base than Lit., black writers and black oriented stories--as well as black female interracial stories--are much more well represented. Perhaps it's the rating system on Lit, which tends to encourage appeal to the greatest common denominator. Although, as I mentioned before, I have a black female/white male story on Lit. that has stayed in the Hot category for going on four years now.

Well besides any of mine since I'm the one doing the getting screwed in mine.

Mostly I think there aren't to many black writers doing stories with black men and women because well, those stories end up disapearing in all of the white stories that are in the categories. I've read a couple of those.

It actually makes me realize something, the people who do these stories tend to be color oriented. Hooper your right I thought about it, some of the stories I've read do describing of people starting off with what color they are, not talking about the face and eyes and body and maybe saying golden skin or white skin or what have you, but going white man, 5'11" and so forth.

I mean good greif, what the hell is up with you people. I'm a southern gal and I'll spread my legs for any guy if I was single and found him cute, or just horny for cock. I still stand by my original reason for this. The reason you primarily see white female, with black males is two fold. One is the "legend" of blacks having bigger dicks. That is ALWAYS the basis of the story and enough people believe it to be true that it is a big lure. The other half is that the sterotype/prejudice still lingers.

I have a black female/white male story as well. It didn't do poorly but it doesn't get the sheer amount of readers as Bethany got Afrosheened, or Barbara by Nitewriter, or how Kit became Kit Kat. Black males, with big dicks, once you go Black you don't go back. etc, etc etc will dominate the genre for years to come. Get over it.

One the other hand there is the legend of the angry black woman that also probably hurts this genre. Black women are almost universally shown in media as being very snappy and negative, so are latin women. Once again this hurts the genre.

As a whole I choose to avoid interacial, incest and celebrity stories. With a few exceptions I find them to be poorly written and try to get by sheerly on "shock" value. The same goes for Cuckold stories which are common enough that they should rate their own fucking category but that's another discussion.

I traveled around the world literaly and never once met a man who was my better. There are better basketball players, better writers, people with more money, people who are better off than me but none of them are better than I am.

How good I am has to do with how I think and who I am. I think that my morals, my way of solving problems, my way of thinking as a whole is better than yours. When I meet somebody who is "better" than me I seek to emulate their behavior until I can accomplish what it is that makes them better than me. I do seek improvement.

Its like asking who am I to judge? I think each and every one of us has an obligation to judge others. And to take appropriate action. When you see somebody doing something that you judge is good then you support them. When you see somebody doing something wrong you don't support them.

Every action you take each day should be something that you consider good. If it isn't either your morals or your actions need to change.

Show me a person who thinks that they are equal to everybody around them and I'll show you somebody with no compass and no objective way of judging people. I am a better person than ANY criminal, and so are you.
