The key thing to remember is that MAGA politicians are in fact voted into power, right.
But they're not getting into power simply because of a small group of loons: MAGA voters only account for about 30% of their support - so roughly 15% of all voters. There simply aren't enough loons to give MAGA election victories.
So, who's actually responsible for putting these MAGA politicians into power?
If MAGA cultists are only 30% of their vote. Who are the other 70%?
- anti-woke conservatives: they represent about 20% of their vote.
- mainline Republicans: they're about 30% of their vote.
- the reluctant right: they make up the final 20% - they voted for MAGA because they think they're less bad than Democrats.
Bottom line: none of them get into power without anti-woke conservatives and mainline Republicans. They're the ones you have to keep an eye on.

MAGA is only the name now in use for a RW nationalist-populist current in American politics. It manifested as the Reform Party, then as the Tea Party -- Trump did not really build any movement, he merely placed himself at the head of an existing one.

I'll remember that if I ever feel stupid. Since I don't anticipate that occurring for...perhaps ever, I'll have to write that down and put it in a safe and memorable place. If only there were some...compartment of sorts, where one could safely store documents in a safe manner. You'd think that would exist...huh. If it did, what might such a thing be named? A "Safety"? Eh. "I'll just put this in my Safety"...nah. Oh well. Someone will take my idea and invent this "magic compartment" someday.

We definitely will have more walkable communtiies. That part is inevitable. The rest of the leftist agenda, the bureacracy growing to control everything, is becoming unaffordable for the same reason we won't have suburbs.
