That loses SO much through cellphone speakers.

I've been collecting obsolete technology so I've got these cool actual transistor radios from the late 60s. I finally got around to hooking up an actual modern stereo in my place it's a little Sony system with great big sound. The two speakers and the head unit combined next to each other are about the size of a small boombox. I don't know why I put that off for so long.

I recently acquired a vintage GE clock radio that as far as I remember is the exact model that I had for my very first radio. It works and it sounds exactly as I remember. Which isn't very good at all. Listen to that convinced me that I should actually hook up something with decent sound. I've been avoiding buying high-end components because I've got all that in storage elsewhere and there's no point in duplicating.

I’m a Sagittarius so I try to stay up-to-date on techie stuff. But it’s cool. I think I still have an old intellevision game system in the attic somewhere. I’m on the go too much to have a home stereo system beyond a Bluetooth speaker. So if I want loud music, it’s in either one of my cars. The only old stuff I collect is 60/70’s Classic Rock on my flash drives.

I have early digital cameras, not 1/4 the resolution of my phone. I just powered up a bartender's widget tonight. Shaped like a hip flask with menus controlled by buttons. Ingredients, directions for lots of drinks. Completely obsolete with the internet in your pocket. A language translator. Early, really heavy Polaroid Land camera. A 1937ish rotary dial phone. Early push-button ones. 110 film camera the same as I took to the Grand Canyon 40 years ago. An underwater militia in 110 cartridge I have no idea if you could even get film for them anymore. Back then you could get film cartridges down in the bottom of the Grand Canyon at the little tourist store.

Finally staring to see typewriters again, but mostly electric student portables. Want to get a mechanical one or two
