Whoops

Thinking about, hoping for, doing... like I've told some of my straight guy friends, if you aren't then you're missing out. But then I forget, of course, that anything that touches their ass is homo, even if it's their wife.
Straight men are weird sometimes.
I feel like pegging has made its way into enough mainstream movies and streaming TV shows, that it's a little more accepted by the average person.

Was your protagonist the rapist?
Kinda. I mean: yes in answer to your question as to the POV, at least partly in the opinion of the FMC, also somewhat according to the chap in question, however much he tells himself he didn't have a choice; no in a court of law and according to Lit policy requirements.

Story here.

Well everyone knows there's no such thing as a strictly straight male who's also a vegetarian🙄. I mean come on, we're not supposed to be writing about unicorns here, keep some sense of reality in your stories, sheesh.

(Says the guy who wrote an elf/orc love story and a succubus with a tentacle pet tale who travel inter-dimensionally- but even those are more realistic, right?)
EVERYTHING is more realistic than a straight male vegetarian. I'm pretty sure the odds of a Boltzmann brain popping up next to me are more likely than encountering a straight male vegetarian.

If the story is in an event or content and the reader finds it via the list of entries, they don't see the category, either. Or the description, though as that's under the title once they click through. they're more likely to see it, whereas the category is in small print some way above the title, so easy to miss.

I always put the category in my preamble for event stories, now.
Yes ... I have done that (put category, tags, descriptors, caveats) at the top. At times I thought I was being silly for doing that but I have had a couple commenters go off on a story because essentially they were offended by R/NC content, when the story was clearly in that category. I will work on this going forward, trying to put essential descriptors in the heading without boring the shit out of people that want to read the story.

As an aside - I think some of my recent R/NC might better be categorized under Mind control. And my "erotic couplings" might be better in Exhibitionist / Voyeur. But resubmitting to change the category seems to be a lost cause nowadays.

I've put descriptions at the top, too. But if someone cannot be bothered to look at the category the story is in, it's their own fault if they get offended by the category. You shouldn't have to hold the reader's hand or teach basic awareness/literacy. At some point they should pay attention to what they're reading.

If people only did what they should, and never did what they shouldn't, the world would be a very different place.

In the meantime...
Shit, I'm holding nobody's hand unless they're paying me. I expect every reader to know what category my story is in since it's so easy to figure out. I'll put a few finer, reasonable details at the top. But that only goes so far.

I wonder if that's a thing, being paid to walk through town while holding the customer's hand.
Trust me, there are PLENTY of people who pay escorts to do even mundane things like that. People just want to feel loved, doted on, to have a big anthro Mommy holding them and telling them what a pretty little bird they are.

For example.

Wait, wait, wait. That's actually what you did?

I'm so conflicted about how to answer this...

Yes, I absolutely did. I was a very sought after... *sigh* No, I didn't. People weren't that into archaeopteryxes back then; they thought I was weird.

But there are people (mostly men) who pay escorts to literally just have small talk with. In fact, the higher-end escorts end up in roles where they're less likely to have sex than a prostitute on the street, I suspect because of the association with high-class and higher amount of money makes going to them purely for sex feel like you're wasting money or something. The higher the amount of money, and this is just me guessing so don't quote me on this, I think the less likely the encounter is going to be just about sex. After all, if you wanted just sex you could find it for much, much cheaper, so they're looking for something else.

I've read accounts of women who charge $10k a night, and sometimes the guy will literally just talk to them and that's it. Or take them out on a date, but not have sex. Some men are so starved for someone to make them feel like they're lovable (or maybe just scared to try it for real) that they'll chuck cash at the problem just to feel that for a night. To have someone hold them and tell them all the nice things they feel they need to hear. And that was back in the day. I have to imagine that sort of thing is even more prevalent nowadays given the male loneliness epidemic.

That's so interesting. Didn't even know this existed. Wow.

Yeah, archaeopteryxes are real, but most people don't realize we...

Oh, you meant the escort thing. Yeah, that's real, too. I feel like I first heard about it in Freakonomics, but I could be wrong. It was definitely somewhere around 2006 - 2009, which is why I think it's all the more common.

That, and a friend of mine went into being a professional girlfriend after making money as a sex phone operator (then went into porn, her life derailed pretty quickly after that). They literally gave her money to go on voice dates with them, send them pictures, both sexual and not, they'd send her expensive gifts. A lot of the time, they just talked to her and went on as if she were their actual girlfriend, just talking about their day, venting, and she'd be super supportive and lovey dovey for them. She had something like 20 guys, so basically all she ever did was just be on the phone with one of them or another. Some were overseas, too.

It sounded like my definition of hell. I can barely deal with remembering to text one partner 😆

Them: "Babe, you get my message about date night on Friday?"
Me: "Oh shit. I meant to text, but then I got distracted. Friday's good."

Them: "Babe, are you mad at me?"
Me: "No. Why?"
Them: "You haven't texted me in a week"
Me: "Really? That doesn't seem right... oops. Uh, sorry 😅"

Aah yes, the Girlfriend Experience. I hear its quite expensive.

Not that I would know from real world experience or anything like that!
