Why do you keep coming back?

I keep coming back hoping to make someone's list. JK 
There are so many reasons I keep coming back:
There are a lot of topics that are interesting and the responses are thought provoking. I keep thinking about Jade's "What Happens When We Die Thread".
The people here are intelligent and willing to share their opinions without a lot of namecalling just because someone else has a differing opinion. Oh yes, there are a couple of exceptions, but that's to be expected and is easily ignored by me because the rest of you put them in their place so well.
The fun threads that just keep going and going and going. (You know which one I'm talking about.)
The hope that Xander and Angelique's story gives all of that love is out there if you would just look for it and recognize it when it arrives.
The informational threads such as the Magic Powder. Although it didn't work for me, there will be a product that will someday that I may never have otherwise heard about or tried.
The sexual banter and flirting that goes on is kind of the me that wants to come out, but is still a little too shy to do so. Maybe someday?
And although I don't converse with any of you off the BB (email, IM, ICQ,) that I don't feel like an outsider or unwanted when I come here.

Are you the cool guy sitting in front of your bookcase Where the Sun Never Sets? I've been to Sommerset and Chestershire and got my first horrendous drunk on in Kingsgate. I was in your land when Bjorn Borg and Roscoe Tanner were in a stupendous battle. I'd move there in a heartbeat if my heart wasn't set on the Alps.

I like it here because I can browse. I don't care for "chat" because it mostly seems incoherent. This board is so full of intellegent, witty people who were probably drawn here by sex as I was. And can fogeeve mah spellun'.

Let me turn this around: How do you feel about those who were around back in the day, dropped out for awhile for various reasons, and then show up on the BB one day, proclaiming, "I'm back! Did ya miss me?" like... I did? There are a few of you I've never heard of, who have damn near 5 times the posts that I had before I dropped out of sight... sort of makes me feel like the bastard child returning to the fold, or something.
Aw, hell, the bastard child never "returns" to the fold, since he was never there to begin with... I never was any good with metaphors. Or is that similes?

I first found this site for the stories, there are some excellent writers here. I like the bulletin boards as a change of pace from most of the other sites out there.There is a little bit of everything here & I enjoy hearing other people's opinions, even if I don't agree. I, too, read almost every post, I just don't reply to them all. With the stress I am facing the next few weeks, this is a fun place to hang out. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.
like you sister Evie I dropped out awhile, came back and found all these newbies with 500 posts - like a whole new crowd arrived at the party while I was upstairs in a bedroom for half an hour .. makes me feel a bit inclined to hang out by the pool with a beer with the old crowd while I take stock of who's here now ... but hell I was a newbie once and y'all took me in and so I'm sure Eve we'll be welcome back of we turn up every now and again ... I just didn't do one of those "HELLO I'M BACK" posts in case no one looked up from the TV to should "HI" back to me ...
