I once heard a tale, told as fact but perhaps urban legend (I heard it at least third hand), about an armed police officer or security guard who came home unexpectedly early one day to find his wife making the beast with two backs with some random guy.

Instead of going into a rage and shooting or beating the guy or the wife (he has drawn his weapon), he calmly insists that the man finish and cum in his wife. The cop then says to the man: "That will be five dollars."

The man, scared to death and in a hurry to get out, looks at the cop dumb-founded at first, but then gets a five dollar bill out of his wallet and nervously hands it to the armed man. The man who was shagging the wife then high-tails it out of the house with no other repercussions.

The cop doesn't verbally berate the wife or actively chastise her. However, he does get the five dollar bill framed with an inscripted placcard saying something to the effect of: "First $5 Earned by the Whore" and hangs it in a prominant place in their house.

While I don't know I have any desire to dive into the "Loving Wives" shark tank, I'm interested in the story concept and where various writers would take it.

I imagine a story along this line would have only a narrow niche appeal to shame junkies and revenge addicts, and would be pretty unpopular with the "mainstream". However, I'm curious what others think.

hum...Cape Coral (and a couple of Lee country sherrifs) were busted 2-4 years ago for being swingers. could spin it...but why only $5?

Why $5? Because it is a demeaning amount of money. Not as classy as 5,000. It shows she is a whore without giving a sense of being valuable.

Yes. It's sort of the equivilent of leaving a pocket change tip if one gets rude or horrendously bad service in a restaurant.

If one didn't put down anything, the waitperson might attribute it to a mistake and not get the hint. If one puts a tip, but a really small one, one definitively signals one's dissatisfaction.

In this case, the cop signals his valuation of his wife and sex with her.

Or maybe he wanted to pick an amount of money that the guy was likely to have on him. For a lot of people we carry credit/debit cards not cash. If he asked for more than twenty bucks his chances of getting the cash were low and he wanted to make a point, not haggle.

The wife should take $100 out of her purse, hand it to her husband, and say, "Five dollars a time? I guess a hundred should cover what I owe you for the other guys I fucked."

That's an excellent retort. Perhaps she could add "... unless there's a family discount, then I may need some change back."

But here is my problem… the $5 is about humiliation. And outside the dom/sub roles I can’t think of anyone that would stay…unless she had very low self esteem.

For me, the turn on is knowing how much he wants me.

I am going to agree with Jen, unless her fantasy is to be a cheap whore no woman will like having her husband collect five dollars from a guy she just fucked. Better scenario her husband walks in and demands the cash in the guys wallet, then has her set up an escort service with flat rates. ;)

It was George bernard Shaw who was reputed to have asked a woman, "Would you sleep with me for £1,000,000?"
When she said she would he asked, "Would you sleep with me for £1?"
Her indignant reply was, "What do you think I am?"
Shaw replied, "I thought we had established that, so I moved on to haggling about the price."

A quite apropos quotation.

The $5 pimp fee is really a form of humiliation for the husband…maybe. Or a form of control over her. I’m having a hard time with this.

As I understand the actual story (again, supposedly true, but I can't speak to the veracity of the claim) the husband was essentially saying: "You stepped out on our marriage, you are nothing but a cheap whore to me now." I suspect he was encouraging her to walk out the door, but the posting the $5 is to let her know that her infidelity will not remain a secret and is intended to shame her. Any family members or common friends that visit their house would see it.

Where it went in reality, I do not know. I'm curious about where, if anywhere, people would take this concept as a story.

I have to admit. When I first read the title of the thread, I was a bit confused.

Why would a wife pimp out her cop husband?!?
(yea, I know. "wife" in this case is an adverb for "pimping"...)

I searched Snopes for "wife pimping cop" and "cop pimping wife".
Couldn't find it there...

Yes. I realized, after the fact, that a well-placed hyphen would have done world's of good to clarify my meaning, but as far as I can figure out you can't edit thread titles.

cop pimps wife

There is a story here about this. Cop discovers his wife cheating, he then arranges for his partner and his boss to do her on a regular basis. I think it was Maria?
