In real life my wife's daughter has flirted with me, maybe even made a few passes over the years.

Yeah, wife was 44 when we met. The youngest kid turned 18 a few months after.

None if them lived with us for a solid year after we got together. But its always been one of them since.

Nothing about this feels heroic lol... bitch is bipolar with high anxiety. This nothing but taking advantage no matter how it plays out.

For the scenario to become plausible for me, it might be the mother to offer her daughter. She might rationalise that if it is the daughter, it stays in the family and doesn't threaten her.

So she comes up with this compromise, knowing that her daughter would never be interested in her husband beyond the sex and try to steal him away.

As she gets on her plane she feels strangely comforted knowing that everyone is happy, but not knowing that her husband is doing things to his step-daughter that's he'd never ask his wife to do.
