She held a hand out to him.

I... I have never let myself get close to anyone... Not after Red.

She had to admit he was like Red. Reminded her so much of him. Could she really let someone else get that close to her again.

Well, I am here if you.decide to let someone close.

Eliot said smiling at her. He held her hand and kissed it gently

She smiled and the smile grew when she saw Ford bring in some food. He handed them both a couple of meals and left.

Let's eat.

Eliot smiled and started eating. Well I guess this is our first date. They ate making small talk, Eliot helping her as she needed, even when not asked

 

[Asa]

First date in a hospital.

She laughed and tried to eat. She wanted out of this place.

Eliot smiled and ate with her. They finished and watched TV to see if she was going to be able to leave.

The doctor came in and checked her o2 saturation.

Well the o2 looks good now you just have to hold that food for the next hour and then you can go.

Eliot and Danni smiled. When the doctor left Eliot slid closer to her

She sighed they were dragging this out and driving her nuts.

I want out of here.

She sighed and snuggled not realizing she was curling close to him.

Eliot smiled and curled to her as well as the watched something to make the hour pass. Before they realized it the hour was up and the team came in with the release paperwork

 

[Asa]

Finally...

Danni smiled.

Sophie nudged Ford at how close they were.

Eliot smiled and got up as the nurses came to take out the ivs. Once they were out and Danni was dressed she was able to leave. She tried to walk but needed a chair. Ford appeared with one and helped her out.

She was taken to Eliot'so car and he drove her back to the bar.

 

[Asa]

She was glad to see the bar and did what she could to get down stairs. Ford tried to stop her.

He can wait rest now.

Eliot led her back to her room. He helped her into the bed and did what he could to help her get comfortable. He stayed beside her until she told him to him leave.

The rest of the team watched and smiled to each other, seeing both of them happy and together.

 

[Asa]

She wasn't sure about letting anyone in close but he really did seem to care and clearly could take care of himself.

She never did ask him to leave but she did sleep off the last of the sedative.

Ford wanted answers about what Danni was to Chin as he went down there to question him personally.

Eliot noticed she had drifted to sleep as he held her. Eliot smiled and decided he deserved some rest as well so he cuddled beside her and drifted to sleep

 

[Asa]

Ford stood staring st Chin for a long time before speaking.

I have known Lady DaVeaga for a long time and I have never seen her harbor as much have for another living being as she has for you. Yet to hear you and Liu talk you love her. Spill it before I spill you all over this storage room.

Chin looked at him the demon you call Lady DaVeaga yes once wielded my heart... A con... A mark... That is all I was... I found out. And still I can not hate her as much as she hates me. She was always too idealistic did not think trafficking people was right or good. You have seen them.... They are sheep who have no fire no real will to live and survive they rely on people like me. And that is why she hates me.... Because I see them for the sheep they are.

Eliot was holding Danni while they slept. The rest of the team watched them on the security camera that was in every room. They also watched Ford in the basement. Sophie was almost down there when Chin gave that remark about the sheep but Parker held her in check.

"Remember, he is Danni's. And she deserves to get to do it."

The team nodded and sat back and watched the two screens.

 

[Asa]

Ford heard Parker and merely knocked him out and went back upstairs and got a drink.

Danni slowly woke up a little and only barely registered being held as she curled closer and was out again for a moment before jumping up from the bed to see Eliot laying there.

Eliot jumped up, ready to attack whatever had happened to get near him while he was asleep. He surveyed the room and found the door locked and the only people who were there were him and Danni.

"You okay Danni? What happened

 

[Asa]

I guess we just woke up not expecting someone to be next to us.

Danni stood there every fiber screaming to run as she was clearly a well wound spring. Parker knew she was not wearing an ear piece so she spoke to Eliot.

It looks like it spooked her that someone was curled up with her. Looks like she is ready to bolt be careful.

Danni, you are okay. You are safe." As Eliot said that he walked over and opened the door.

"If you want to go you may but you are welcome to stay here as long as you want. But know if you leave I get Chin.

 

[Asa]

Chin... Let's go...

She quickly moved to find her 40cal and headed for the door.

Where is he?

Basement unconscious not dead.

Ford replied as he sat by the others in the main room.

"Danni, can I ask one thing? Would it not be more satisfying to do it with your hands?"

Eliot asked, knowing he would not be able to go in if she had the gun

 

[Asa]

I just want him dead Eliot. Him dead the trafficking stops for his group the others ATF and groups like them can deal with. Bare hands I risk him getting the upper hand. Putting a bullet through various points on the body knowing he will be in max pain but not dead till I decide.

She shook her head it was hard enough to believe that this was finally happening.

I understand, Eliot said as he walked over to the door, opened it and motioned for her to enter. When she was in he nodded and closed the door.
He walked out to the gym and did some workouts while she took care of her demons

 

[Asa]

Ford watched the security feed unmoving as he watched her bullets taking out his hands and feet his spine before watching him suffer for a long moment before putting a bullet between his eyes and in her last words to Chin Eliot understood. This animal had gotten a hold of Reds baby sister. When he saw she was headed upstairs he merely held out the bottle of bourbon to her as she inhaled a long drink from it.

So what is our next assignment. Guess I could stick around for a little bit.
