Winter Wonderland

Damien:

"Good Ill wait for you, where would we go to get cocoa?," i asked kinda embarresed...

Bianca

"There," I said, pointing to the dining room doors.
"Or here in the lobby, or even in your room," I said before I could stop myself. I blushed again, not able to think of anything else to say.

Bianca

I watched Damien go up the stairs to his room, a short while latter he came back down and went into the dining room. Well, I thought to my self, at least now I have something, or rather, someone, to keep my mind off Jacque.

The time ticked by slowly, it seemed to take forever for that hour and a half to go by. Finally, Cindy showed up to take her shift. I ducked into the ladies room to take a quick look at my self. My long hair was tied up in a french twist, with a few curls hanging down. I smoothed my hands over the dark green suit that I wore, the skirt falling just above my knees and the jacket over a black lace tank top.

Convinced that I looked presentable, I headed for the dining room.

Damien:

When she arrived She looked even better standing up.Being a gentlemen in nature I stood and pulled out a chair for her."I dont wanna sound shallow,But I didnt ask your name," i said.I brushed my dark hair back.I extended my hand for a formal greeting and when she took it, I kissed the top of it..

Bianca

I smiled as he kissed my hand, then I realized what he'd said and remembered that I hadn't been able to find my name tag this morning.

"My name is Bianca," I said, taking the seat he offered me.

Damien:

"Bianca, what a lovely name," I said. I waited for her to sit and get comfortable before taking my seat.I figured out hoe and ordered us each a cup of hot cocoa...

Bianca

After he ordered the coca, we sat there silent for a moment, neither one of us too sure what to say.

"So how long will you be staying with us?" I asked him.

Damien:

She seemed interested in how long I was staying."My reservation is for 2 weeks," i said."I had to get away,my booking agent was running me ragged with publicity," I said.I explained about the grocery store opening."So, will you be working here the whole time?," i asked..

Bianca

I smiled at his question.

"Actually, my parents own the place, I'm running it while they're away on vacation."

Damien:

I liked her answer. It put a big smile on my face.At least Id have something pretty to look at while I was here."I just realized Im gonna like it here alot," i said. Our Cocoa arrived,I sipped it and Said,"So have a family back home, husband, kids,Anything besides your parents," I asked a little curious, probably a little to curious...

Bianca

He asked if I had a husband or kids, sounding a little more curious about this fact than he had been about the others.

"No," I replied, "Just my parents, no boyfriend or anything."

Damien:

No boyfriend. That really put a smile on my face. "I just recently got out of a bad relationship myself, but you probably already knew that because it was all over the news and the papers," I said."I still cant believe it,a pretty young thing like you single," i said and smiled wider...

Bianca

"Yeah, I did see some about that break up on the cover of the tabloids at the grcery store, but I that's hardly a reliable source of information!" I laughed, "other than that, I didn't know much about it, I don't really care for snooping on other people's lives, even if they are all over TV."

I kinda avoided the remark on my single status, not sure if I wanted to get into that. I always felt like I had to make excuses for why I was single. I guess there was some kind of assumption that if you didn't have a boyfriend then there must be something wrong with you.

damien:

"ill tell you You get funny looks when you date a pop star and your a rock star," i said. Refering to Mandy moore,My ex."And she was a publicity hog,Too," I said.

I sat silent for a second then ,"Your one of those people who has excuses for being single, because you think people will think there is something wrong with you, arent you?," I asked...

Bianca

"You're one of those people who has excuses for being single," he said, "because you think people will think there is something wrong with you, arent you?"

I sat there with my mouth agape, not quite sure what to say next. Finally, I smiled and said, "yup, and they're damn good excuses too!"

Vic the concierge
My head was starting to throb, the room was getting blurry and my heart was racing. Was this just a dream or was I beginning to react to the 'tea'? "Lori, Lori, are you still there?", I asked. I could not hear her answer as there was an annoying grinding noise getting louder.

Suddenly, I could see and I was looking down upon a room made of stone. The walls, grey with black smudge marks as if from a fire and the floor white with many streaks of dark red, similar to stains. The grinding noise was emanating from a small stone wheel which someone was using to sharpen a sort of pointed tool. The was a wooden table in the center of the floor with rope straps at all four corners and a larger strap at the top and in the middle.

Doors started to open and people and animals began to enter the room. But, they looked strange, the people dressed in all black hooded robes and the animals looked like dogs with wings and horns. Flying creatures were circling high above the table as a young naked woman was brought to the table. Her hands and legs were constrained by the corner ropes with the top rope placed around her neck. The rope in the middle of the table was wound around her waist, through her crotch and tied to the rope by her neck. She lay spread eagle and could not move or she would choke herself.

Another strange creature entered, best described as the back half of a horse attached to a large penis. One of the black robed people was riding the creature all around the woman. More penis creatures entered but this time with naked women riding them. The winged dogs and penis horses began to prod at the woman on the table causing her to scream. The remaining robed people gathered around the table forming a curtain blocking my view. The man at the grinding wheel stood up with the item he was sharpening, which was not a tool but rather a very large pointed penis. He walked toward the woman with his 'tool' pointed toward her crotch as the cloak of black robes moved away from the table. They had painted her body with a red dye and she appeared to be dazed. I strained my eyes to look at her face and....I wanted to scream because it was Lori.

What should I do? Was I just supposed to watch? Then I remembered Jasmine's words 'Trust as one body' and I knew I was meant to save her. Taking advantage of a nearby hanging rope, I took hold and swung down to the floor. Somehow, I had a sword and small crossbow which I used to repel the robed people. Cutting Lori free I grabbed her and climbed back up the rope to the top of the room. The flying creatures were nipping at us as the others were climbing up the walls. There was nothing to use as an escape except for a small window which was easily within reach. Looking out the window I could see water down below and knew what had to be done. Holding tightly onto Lori we jumped out of the window to the water below. As we hit the water.....

I seemed to shake violently and my eyes slowly opened. I was sweating profusely and Lori appeared to be staring deep into my eyes. I reached across the table and called out to her, "Lori, I had this dream. It was so real. I believe we met in an earlier time and were destined to meet here now".

Lori was still staring at me but her eyes were not blinking. They had a frightened look about them. What could be wrong? Did I really dream of anything? "Lori, Lori, are you OK?", I asked taking her hands in mine.

Bianca

I laughed, that was a first. Someone that wanted to hear my excuses?

"Well," I said, "I just recently finnished my masters in business, and while I was in college I wanted to focus on my education. And now I'm learning how to take over the place, putting everything on the computer, and that doesn't leave mush time to socialize," I paused, taking a drink of my coca. "Even if it did, there's not much of an eligible selection of bachelors in town."

OOC: ok, I don't really know if there is such a thing as a masters in business, I'm really an art major! :)

Damien:

"Well,Im a bachelor," i said with a little laugh."my mom wanted me to be a doctor," i said. "Well look at me now" i said....

OOC:

We have the same Major, mines theatre art...

Bianca

"She can't be too unhappy about it, after all, I would guess that you're making a lot more money than any doctor would," I paused, "not like that's any of my business though."

Jacque

OOC: The ski instructor is still here with nothing to do and no one to do it with.

Lori

As I stared at Vic, the room grew fuzzier and fuzzier and I had the strangest sensation. My head was spinning like I was riding on a very fast merry-go-round. When it finally stopped, I was lying, naked and bound, on a wooden table. Strange creatures were surrounding me, touching me. An odd screaming sound grew louder and louder in my ears until I finally realized that it was me. I was screaming.

I couldn't turn my head, so I couldn't see what was going on around me. I screwed my eyes shut. "Please let this be a dream!!" played over and over in my head.

When I opened my eyes again, I saw a frighteningly large creature. My mind refused to process any of the strange details: the horse's hooves, the wide man's chest, the impossibly large penis, the wicked eyes. It stepped between my spread legs and began to probe at my tender flesh with his swollen cock when, suddenly, Vic was at my side. A flash of metal, and my bonds were loosed. I wrapped my arms around his neck and closed my eyes, not wanting to know any more. The sudden sensation of falling, however, wrenched my eyes open to see a small lake speeding toward me. I whispered three small words into Vic's ear and closed my eyes again.

"Lori, Lori, are you OK?"
Gasping, I blinked and was once again sitting across from Vic, that foul tea steaming on the table before us. His eyes were searching mine with concern, his hand reaching for mine. I gripped his hand reflexively, not daring to let go.
"I hope that was a dream, Vic," I said with a shaky voice. "Just promise that you won't let go of me."
