Witchfall [Closed to eternal_blade]

Alley was surprised when Conner snatched her by the wrist, but she calmed some when she heard his words. That die down in nervousness was only temporary it seemed, for it started back when he began to tug her along by her arm, sending a feeling of panic through her chest. Each step she felt would bring another bolt of energy her way, and she wasn't sure she could keep dodging them like her companion.

Alley did finally calm permanently when Conner said they were almost there, and she nodded as she started to move with him more. "Right, let's go!" She said with a slight hurry, and pulled her wrist from his hand as they ducked into the old shed. The bike was magnificent, again something that belonged in the route sixty six museum, and not in this man's backyard just waiting for a quick get away.

Alley didn't stall at his words though, and she quickly moved toward the bike, straddling the back as she regretted her choice in clothing. Why couldn't he have had some denim shorts or something!? She complained mentally, but that's when yet another intrusion shocked her already uneasy mind. "I hope you don't think you'll be getting away that easy, darling. We still have a date you've yet to make good on." Unlucky for the creature, she was tied of being scared. So she closed her eyes as she tried to fire back at the signal.

It was as Alley concentrated that a large flash entered her mind, and she seen energies wrapping over a figure as if to burn it in flames. Ahhhh, you'll pay for that bitch!!!" The disembodied voice echoed out, this time a seemingly ethereal shock that sounded in her ears rather then her mind. Though that's when she noticed Conner starting up the bike, and she bid him as he did. "Hurry!"

Despite everything, Alley found herself excited by all the danger. Even now as she thought of what she might have done to the creature, a rush was building in her chest. "I think I did something to him, so we should be fine for a moment!" She yelled over the roar of the engine in a not so sure tone. Sure she had seen it, but she had no clue if Conner had heard the voice or not!

Conner pulled the chains from the bike, which weren't as much to keep someone from stealing the motorcycle as it was to keep the thing from leaving on it's own accord, but all the same he kept it chained to an underground post. He kept his senses as open as he could, but the energies coming from Alley not only persisted but grew stronger the longer they dallied. He straddled the bike and without so much as a key the demonic hog roared to life as soon as his hands gripped the bars.

He looked back to alley for a second as he felt her power radiating at a crescendo as if she had been building up to this since she had been talking to herself in his bedroom in that oh-so-familiar voice. He frowned as it let down and she seemed to not have any power at all for a few seconds at which point the power of the bike loomed bleakly over his heightened senses.

Conner felt the bike "warm up" to him about the time that alley screamed over the roar of the engine that she "thought" she had taken care of him. Think! Conner thought to himself only mildly disgruntled as he grunted, and let loose the bike which began to move slowly at first before it moved far too quickly for anything man-made to, save rocket propulsion and bullets. It was in that moment of speed fueled delirium that the scenery blurred around them as if they were moving in slow motion, but at the same time to fast to properly see what they were passing by.

The energies from the demonic power would have proved to be near deadly for anyone not truly touched by the supernal, but for both of them it was little more than a rush of dark power. Conner only hoped that it didn't prove something she liked overmuch. As the confusion of the demonic ride slowed and their surrounding came more into focus, the bike was driving just a little over the speed limit of a local highway. Well this will do... Conner thought as he pulled off on the first exit, and jumped onto a separate stretch of back road.

It didn't take them long to find themselves at a large building where a bunch of black cars and SUV's were being readied for something, but as they approached everyone stopped what they were doing as if it didn't matter at this point. Conner brought the bike to a stop before one of the cars and a dark haired man with dark glasses and a snazzy suit. "You took to long." Conner said in a dark tone as he kicked the stand down, and pulled himself from the motorcycle.

Alley felt her heart sink as Conner revved the motorcycle, it was like a strange energy was beginning to surround the area. She thought about protesting, stating it may have been a bad idea. For better or worse she didn't, and that's when he took off faster then she thought even a bike like this could have. "Ahhhh! She screamed aloud, feeling a dip in the pit of her stomach as they seemed to travel faster then time itself.

Alley wasn't sure if her comparison was correct or not, but the blurred scenery was enough to make it obvious something was terribly wrong. She gripped tight into Conner's side then, feeling a strange rush course through her that made her shiver before the scenery seemed to come back in focus, and suddenly they were travelling high speeds on a freeway along the cities interstate. She almost screamed, asking him what was wrong. Instead of this, she merely remained silent as she caught her breath.

Alley's fingers didn't unclutch from Conner's leather clad sides until they pulled up to the building, approaching a dark haired man that she found vaguely familiar. As they rolled up toward him, and her guardian exchanged words with the man, she hopped from the bike in a hurry. "What the hell was that?" She asked as she backed from the bike like it was a cursed thing. Sure, the rush was not all bad, but the way it made her feel seemed wrong.

Alley backed up frantically until she bumped into the back of an SUV, which of course brought a chorus of chuckles from the men that had stopped their activities. She looked about at them, her face darkening with a red tint as she put her head down and giggled lightly. Oh how was this funny, she'd just had energy shot at her from some thing she could not see. With a soft sigh, she rose her head and stared Conner's way, trying now to collect herself.

"Sorry for the outburst. That was just really freaky." Alley spoke loud enough he could hear it, and walked toward him as the breeze blew her dress about her thighs. She stopped just a few feet from the bike, and glanced between Conner and the dark haired man as she tried to think on what their connection might be. Surely, it had something to do with how strange conner seemed.
