Wolf Children-type RP?

I just watched the Japanese version of the anime movie Wolf Children; the English dub is releasing on November 23rd. It gave me the idea for a RP with a similar story, but one where the father doesn't die, lol. Here is a trailer if you haven't seen the movie yet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SlB-SpDMKI

This movie hit me on such an emotional scale, I knew immediately what I wanted to do a RP based on it. The movie had me ready to cry at times, but other scenes had me laughing my ass off.

My idea is to have the couple eventually raise their kids together, but that wouldn't be till much later on. The RP would start with the couple meeting for the first time and we would write out their romance and life before kids. I'm thinking we could throw in a little action, maybe other werewolves or vampires or some sort of dangerous entity. My character will be a werewolf, but the female can be one too if you want, or she can be a witch/sorceress or even a normal human, it's up to you.

So, are any of you female writers interested in this idea? If multiple people show interest, even other males, they could play friends of the couple or other members of the supernatural community or whatever. I'm open to ideas.

Desmond Stark

Background:

Desmond is one of the last surviving Lycans, shapeshifting wolves who were hunted to the brink of extinction by the Templars in the Middle Ages. They would often masquerade as humans to hide from the religious hunters, which gave root to legends of "werewolves." It became standard for Lycans to mate and give birth in human form, and their offspring would be born in the same form, but would learn to change into a wolf within the first year or two.

Before Desmond was born, his parents lived in a small village in Ireland which was mostly populated with Lycan families. It was one of the last wolf villages before the Templars finally discovered it and burnt the village to the ground. Some of the villagers escaped, scattering in different directions. Charlie and Ingrid came to America, suppressed their Irish accents, and attained new identities with the help of an underground network of Fae loyalists in various positions of power around the world (Fae is a term for all magical beings).

The Starks bought a small home on the edge of the mountains in Montana, where Desmond was born and spend most of his early childhood. However, when he was fourteen, a pack of Lycans led by Charlie's former rival-turned-enemy -- Lucien Lechaun -- tracked them down and blamed them for abandoning Ireland and not fighting the Templars head on. In the fight that followed, Charlie and Ingrid died, but not before taking out most of the other wolves. Lucien then turned to kill Desmond, but the boy leaped forward, tears pouring out of his eyes as he savagely attacked his parent's murderers.

In the end, Desmond stood as the sole survivor amongst a circle of corpses. He then howled at the full moon and vanished into the mountains, spending several years living in the wild. When he was eighteen, he surfaced in Denver, Colorado, taking various jobs from day labor and temp agencies.

He traveled a lot in the years that followed, wherever the jobs were. When he was twenty-four, Desmond found himself in New York City at the request of a former employer named Jim, who had just opened a new moving company based in Manhattan and needed reliable workers.

Astrid was found as a mere child of two and raised in a Gasha style never knowing her parents or anything of who and what she really was. Not even the people who raised her knew for there where no sighs she was anything but human, and would not be until she hit the age of 19 and went through her first full shit to cat.

At the age of 18 she was sent from the only home she knew to live and work overseas in a place called United States of America. Astrid had been sent here to work off her dept.

Scared and alone, the boat she had been put upon landed somewhere in what she would learn later was called New York. The boat ride itself was a long and very hard one for Astrid but she remained true to her teaching and what she had promised. Always no matter what stay a flowered lady.

As Astrid stepped from the boat looking around she knew someone was meant to meet her on the docks. This person would know her name Astrid Magi and that she had been trained to server and submit. They would also know she was still a virgin having been kept for the man, men, women , women, whoever ended up owning her now.
Astrid was scared but also very excited about her new life here in the states one she would hopefully come to enjoy and love as much as her old life.
