"Usually doesn't go on here, most wild animals stay a good distance away, if you hadn't noticed unless its bugs few other animals come here." he sips his coffee and it leaves a pinkish hue to his lips as he than smiles.

"I have to ask Eden, just because we don't get many outsiders...And i was gone when you got here...What brought you to Wolf Lake, I mean most of us here have been in this town for years in fact most people here work in the saw mill and steel mill here" he says as he looks to his cup and than sighs.

"Now i only ask cause I am curious, you Didn't get suggested here by any of the locals did you, Like did any one from here come to visit you and tell you to come down here did they or did you get referenced here on...Damn, what is that thing called...."he pauses in thought and than snaps his fingers"A computer, that internet thing. I love books my self...and am more of a clock maker my self" he says blushing

"Sorry I don't tell people that i often tend to keep to my self" he says smiling a little nervously as he than glances at the others and they all snap there heads back to what there doing.

"Sorry about the others i'm sorta a celebrity here as I am the single heir to the Lupine fortune, i mean My family owns almost all the town! And these lovely people are a little intimidated with my family and then my sisters are real bitches... Only my brother and his wife stay at the mansion having been crippled he stays in there comfortable. i kind of inherited the certain responsibilities because he is injured but he helps with numbers and stuff I just to the grunt work" he says flashing looks at the others and many cowered from his gaze.

Eden smiled at him as she enjoyed the taste of her coffee, and she sat back listing to what he said. But when he brought up how she got there she sighed a little bit, shaking her head a bit as she looked outside the window. Her eyes looking outside, seeing the wind blowing the trees around, it felt rather calming and it felt wonderful. Smiling a little more as she looked back, she felt like she should be bowing or something if he was rich. Though something about him kept pawing at her it drove her nuts.

"Well that is a bit of a story I'm from New York City originally and I ended up graduating high school two years earlier. I managed to get out by the time I was sixteen, so decided to become a nurse for personal reasons and I became well liked. But I told my boss that I wanted to leave, to be a nurse in a small pretty town. My boss smiled at me and he nodded, he made some phone calls and talked to the one in charge of the hospital here. Since I am good to people and would never lose patience.

I was honored with an award before I left, I accepted it of course. But I didn't get a fat head or anything. I just want to help and wanted to be here and I was accepted, I feel this town has stories to it. Course every place does really, rather it be good or bad history. But I can promise you I wont be causing a problem. Since I know I am an outsider, I don't have a hidden past that will bite me in the ass later. I lost everything I have no siblings was an only child, and my parents are dead"

Eden smiled a bit and hoped she would be accepted here, she worried about it sometimes but she did what she thought she had to.

"I See so some one genuinely called you back to have you come here?" he syas as he puts his hurt hand to his chin and rubs the stubble there and than smiles.

"Okay seems legitimate... And yes every town does have there secrets, we have one here, but I will be happy to tell you once you are ready for it." he says as he sees the sun slowly creeping down the sky and smiles.

"Care for us to continue our walk out in the fresh night air...You must already know how lively the town is at night" he says as he smiles and strands holding out his hand to you his injured hand and smiles.

'By the way I won't be needing the bandage any more, or the stitches, so if you would be so kind as to cut these free i would be appreciated" he says as he pulls the bandage off revealing the finely stitched thread work underneath. He put his coffee to his lips than lowered it enough to where you could see it and it had an odd rust color to it as he smiled.

Eden heard what he said and smiled a bit, Eden felt like she belonged here it was rather nice frankly. Her eyes looking around as she saw eyes on her, it was rather strange. Almost like she was a celebrity but something told her there looks were bad ones. She had trouble reading strangers, but she could read things. Picking them up and figuring out what was going on, but when he held his hand out to her she took it. But something unusual happened when he looked at her, and she gave him that smile.

Hearing what he said "What?" she asked curiously but then when he removed his bandage, she saw her handy work. And she knew that he didn't come into the hospital for this to be looked at, she remembered every face that she had seen. Her heart beating quickly as flashes of the other night filled her head. The wolf she helped, flashes of the eyes, the fur and flashes of the paw with the same stitches. She was shocked it was easy to tell, it wasn't her face that gave it away. It was in her breathing.

"How is this possible your....?" She couldn't even finish the sentence and she reached into her pocket taking out nail clippers, and used them to carefully remove the stitches but it was last night and the wound was completely healed already. She felt lost in that moment as she felt herself stumble in the darkness of her thoughts. She shook her head and walked outside for some air, sighing a bit and looking at the moon that was almost full.

"such a beautiful thing the Moon" he says following you as he smiles."It is a beautiful goddess whose powers cause the waters to ebb and flow, and the wolves blood to howl as the night is theirs" he says leaning against the building as he watches her and smiles.

"I see you noticed your handy work," He says smiling "Probably the best work i have every seen, though it wasn't necessary i do thank you for it" he sips his coffee and smiles "Are you ready for that secret yet or do you wish to continue are leisurely stroll like nothing happened.. Don't worry tonight is safe, the moon is only 3 quarters full and will be for the next two days" he says as he smiles.

"Eden are you alright?" he asks as he comes closure to you his smile fading to a look of concern." Sorry to spring it on you so suddenly I have little time to warn one as your self"

Eden was taken back by everything she was learning, but then she heard what he said about the moon. Looking up to the beautiful thing she just smiled a little, though she was a little nervous. But she was always nervous around cute guys. Hearing what he said about her handy work and it wasn't necessary. She wanted to know what the hell was going on, but she had a feeling that she knew. But strange thing was she had no idea why she was sent to Wolf Lake it was rather freaking strange to her.

"I'm okay but I don't understand" She said simply and placed her hands on her hips and looked at him. "Are you a lycanthrope?" She said simply her way of saying she was ready for the secret, she had an open mind that was the kind of woman that she was, but then thought about his hand and looked back at him. "You were hurt I couldn't just let you suffer, it is my nature to help Aden and I expect nothing in return for it. I regret nothing that I have done" She said simply and smiled a bit.

"Its good to know you care for people" he says as he smiles he takes off his hat to reveal his lustrous black hair that shimmers in themoon light, as does his eyes glow with the light of the moon he steps forward and leans in his nose twitching as he wears a feral grin.

"I am indeed Ms.Wolf" he says as he than pulls back and offers you his hand" Infact the whole population of Wolf lake is as i am." his hand gripped yours softly despite the powerful strength it seemed to hold at bay to clasp your hand.

"My Father built this city some 150 years ago as a place to hide and grow in the new country of America, heck I even fought for this land in the Civil war. I was Confederate man my self.. as I wanted our right to have some for of state autonomy from the federal or central government, but heck i was young and idealistic back then. I was still a pup" he smiled and continued on."I didn't stop there mind you i fought in the Great War, and World War II. I though stopped there as my father died and my brother took the reigns, So i came back and settled her along side my unnatural sisters" he says looking at the moon as if basking in the sun.

"Sorry I forgot to tell you I'm almost 200 years old" he blushed a little as he lead you down towards your house. "And I know I'm dropping a lot of information on you at once, but the next lunar cycle is a full moon so you will need to be prepared for the Time of Change for most of us here" he says as he than looks at you his face concerned even though a few strands of his hair fall in his face.

Eden saw his hair and another flash of memory came to her, about the wolf and his fur. But those eyes again she saw them and a chill and heard him explain everything to her. But in the back of her head something felt wrong, and her heart was beating. And rubbing the back of her neck she was thinking of everything that had happened. The woman she spoke to that told her to come here, she looked up at the sky and just let out a heavy sigh. She found a bench and sat down it was close to her home.

"I don't understand if all of you are werewolves, then why was I told to come here? What am I going to be eaten or something?" She said though she was not afraid to die she did not care what anyone else would say or think. But she understood now why people made such a big ass deal about her. In the back of her head she was afraid, would they hurt her? would they eat her? So many mean questions. Questions she hoped would be answered so she did not have to ask a single question.

It hurt to think of people using her for something, but she smiled a bit with what he said about caring. "I see every living being as someone important on our world, those who are intelligent though most people think animals are just that animals. But I take it when I was talking to you, while you were in your wolf form that you could understand me just fine?" She asked, afraid to ask something stupid so she was careful with what she asked of him. She patted the spot beside her for him to sit.

"You smell scared? or is that worry, I'm usually good at reading peoples scents" he says as he than smiles at you question.

"Yes I did understand you, as for the question as to why you are here I know not, I will have to make inquiries. I know how fun the towns people will like that." He looked pained in the eyes as he looked back to the moon and closed his eyes. He seemed like he was struggling with some thing than he lowered his head and smiled his charming smile.

"What I do know is you are kind, and that you are trustworthy enough not to leak our little secret. I do however feel a strange around you. many of the women here have tried to court me, but I don't want them, Granted I did an unwolf like think and had an encounter or two with women.. not here but during the war" he says as he sighs and looks at you" i know humans think its not a bad thing to rut like deer in heat constantly but for wolves we mate for life, My father punished me as did his second, as did my brother, Some of those blows mar my body til this day as they were done from silver." he says shuddering as he than turns to you.

"I also am the towns Alpha, It was my brother," He got you to your door and had a tear running down his face."My brother however got wounded when a group of werebears decided to try and muscle in,I told my brother they should have a chance to live here too, I had fought along side Werebears before, but he didn't listen, and now, my brother sits in a wheel chair his right leg amputated because he was damaged. Thats when the bear traps went up, and i became alpha and initiated the bear hunt. I fought them hard and fast and slew them at least those i didn't catch and send down to mexico." he was crying but it didn't show in anything but his face.

"Sorry, I really am" he says turning from you and looking back up at the moon as he walked back towards the coffee shop, a little somber as he sniffled.

Eden watched him and heard what he said "I'm just nervous I am really never good around guys of any kind, perhaps that is why I have never had a boyfriend" Eden said with a big grin on her face, it was nice to see such things. And putting one leg over the other, she relaxed and it was rather nice. He would open up to her and she would open up to him. It was a nice little mix, it was something she wanted to keep up. She was not afraid of him though part of her thought she should, since really she liked this.

But hearing his story about his brother, she felt bad for him. She did not pity the man before her, she just could sense his pain in the story. It pained her to see such pain in his eyes, it almost scared her to think that he could be taken out easily. It almost scared her, though he was kind enough to open up fully. Eden had no idea what it was about her, but people had said it was easy to open up to her. Even if she was just a stranger, perhaps she just had a natural gift of helping people and making them feel comfortable.

She did not know what to say or even do, but she watched him walk towards the cafe. Thinking of many different things, she slowly stood up. Her mind going around and around it was rather hard to think, but placing a hand on her hip. She finally figured out what she was going to say to him, though perhaps it was stupid. She ran it over and over into her head and it was just rather different for her now. Clearing her throat as she cuddled into her jacket a bit, it looked like real leather but it wasn't.

"I think your wolf form is beautiful" She said out of the silence, she smiled a little and hoped that he took it the right way. I do not understand why I was sent here, but I see it as a blessing. And if it was a mistake I hope I don't have to ever leave this town, so your secret is safe for me. Course even if I did leave I would never expose you. I don't have a bad bone in my body so I have been told. " She walked up to him and placed her hand on his shoulder.

He let out a little laugh and turned around."Bad bone" he laughed again after saying it and than stood and smiled.

"thanks i don't know why but that phrase always get me... To a wolf and a dog you can never have a bad bone" he says laughing some more before he runs his hands along yo0ur arms and smiles."Say you want to go to the Wolf in Sheeps Clothing Pub, Its open mike night and we have some good singers... we have some literal howlers too, but thats what the alcohol is for, now to warn you the others there are less conspicuous of there true selves and tend to eat bloody meat, and have blood beer and the dreaded liquid pork chop, but they are relatively harmless"

Eden smiled at him and watched him touch her it felt strange to be touched by a man, and right now it was just to damn perfect. When he asked her if she wanted to go to the pub she nodded a little bit. "I use to sing at the club in the city before I came here, I write music. Wrote a new one and finished it not to long ago" She said simply and took his hand squeezing it. Showing she was comfortable and wanted to do something with him. He seemed rather sweet to her, so she was just curious what the pub would be like.

"Well first time for everything Aden" She said simply and chuckled.

He leads you to a simple european style tavern as one might find in Medieval england. It had a wooden sign with a mug of ale on it and under it a street sign that showed a Wolf unzipping a sheep costume. Music blared from the pub.

He walked to the door and opened it. Younger people stood about, and waitresses moved about, However when Aden entered the music stopped and all eyes looked at him.

"I'm just coming to Enjoy the music and drink some of the fine ale" he says with a warm smile. the room slowly sped up and continued. Aden lead you over to a table that people quickly vacated as he approached. When he reached the table he pulled out a chair for you and gestured for you to sit on the chair and than took his seat at the table across from you but were he could see the stage.

She smiled at him and followed him, seeing what he was doing and sat down as he helped her. It was rather sweet and her eyes looked around, it was rather strange. But she liked it, she could feel the air in the pub it was rather different. Eden could tell there were many people looking at them, and knowing she was the only human. Kinda made her a bit nervous because she did not know how others thought about humans. Eden was respectful but to so me people it would not matter she had that feeling.

Looking around she saw the stage and did not know if she would have the courage to sing in front of a werewolves. Afraid to sing something they would not like, or something that disrespected there kind and she didn't know it. It was to the point where she looked back over at Aden and showed him the loving smile. Though she still could not believe he was the wolf she had helped before. Made her feel happy that she helped the alpha of the whole town, meant a lot to her he trusted her to a degree.

"Your Nervous, Its okay i'm here I won't let anyone hurt you" he says smiling as he laughs and than gestures the waitress over " Before she gets over do you want a beer, an ale, a lager, a bock, or a stout?" he says as he smiles and than laughs a bit.

"I'm ordering a Burger too with chili fires if you want me too" he says as he smiles and looks at her his face relaxed and happy as he seems to care little about the waitress trembling or the others in the room steering clear of him.

Eden looked at him and smiled "I'll take a lager and chili fries and a burger sound good" She said and looked at him. "I am curious Aden why would you be willing to fight your own just to save me, you don't even know me" She said softly but smiled showing she was honestly happy with him and something about him made her care. It was kinda strange since she knew they could not mind control people, but it was just hard to explain and she rubbed the back of her neck enjoying the thought of this night.

"You've noticed how the others look at me and flee from me right" he says as the waitress leaves there table. He sees you respond and leans in.

"Before I took over the duties of Alpha, i was sort of the Alphas enforcer his right hand... I haven't elected a right hand as i am not wanting that job on any one...My sisters however have thought that would be a better use of there time, as they are more inclined to think like a human than a wolf" he says as he sighs.

"I especially have a reputation like my Uncle of leaving permanent scars, In fact my father taught him. The secret is Silver finger tips" he says as he sighs and than shakes his head.

"I though have done more trying to keep bad influences out as I trust most of the people in power here. If they do cross the line I tend to correct that behavior, Its is a very thankless job being the hand the Alpha," he says listening as the music dies and the MC gets up and speaks.

"Wow I can't believe my eyes, Its Aden our former Alphas' lapdog turned Alpha himself, and look he brought us a sweet chick-a-dee, She smells human too" he says flashing his fangs as he shifts from human to hybrid, the once red head lad going to a red wolf as he glares at the two of you looking thoroughly intimidating as he than howls and smiles. "Now WHo wants to entertain us, or did our illustrious leader send you all running to the hills" he says as he smiles.

Eden noticed what she did and she felt really worried, she had no idea what the hell she was going to do. And when he said she smelt human, she looked down a bit thinking of a million things. And she looked at Aden. She heard silence as she could hear a pin drop and knew she had to do something, she reached into her purse and took out a CD of the back ground music to her song she wrote. She stood up and handed the CD to the DJ that was in there and knew not what the hell she was going to do here.

Her heart was beating quickly and she looked up at the DJ or whom ever he was and nodded, she cracked her neck a little bit and then she heard the music start up. Closing her eyes as she was at the mic trying to control her breathing. Though she was really worried, but she did the best that she could do. But now she had to do this to keep order or peace of some kind, she had not sung in front of people for a few years. But then as the melody picked up she began to sing her song that she wrote.

The howls all coming from her as well as the inhales and exhales, from the little about werewolves she knew she made this song and hoped they saw it as a respectful song. As she sang with all her heart, letting the music just take her and hoping that it stops the fight she felt was coming in. But only time would tell but she would do what she had to, if it meant fighting herself she would do it. Though she knew that any werewolf could kill her very easily since she was so weak.

He smiled as you sang. He watched you intently as he smiled and seemed to relax and get lost in the moment. When you finished he got up and clapped as he walked towards you and held his hand out and smiled as he mouthed.

"that was beautiful" he mouths as the crowd sends howls and hoots of appreciation. He smiles standing there waiting for it to die down and than when you take his hand he pulls you to him and smiles as he than kisses your hand and leads you back to the table.

"That was beautiful, never heard some one capture the plight of my people like that" he says as he sees the waitress trot over and easily puts the food down and smiles as she than leaned over and whispered

"You were great, I loved it" she said giggling as she than went to another table.

Other came over and said praises and smiled and warmed to Eden. Aden smiled as he say all this and than drank a bit of his ale. He let you have your moment and smiled. Once they stopped the praise and the entertainment went back up and Aden leaned over and smiled.

"You really did a great job, and I was amazed they got past me being here, You made my day" he says smiling as he leaned in and kissed your hand again.

Eden smiled a bit and did not think she would get the howls and hoots it was rather nice, and watching Aden she smiled a little bit. When he took her hand and kissed it, she felt rather happy about it. Her heart stopped beating quickly, when her heart beat fast and hard it was when she was nervous. But she wasn't really nervous much any more. She figured the howling she did in the song perhaps got some in the mood for certain things. Walking back over to the table and sat down, she felt his hand on hers.

Hearing what he said about the song she blushed a little "I am glad you like it, I always found werewolves interesting. Though unfortunately books and movies make your kind to be monsters, I am sure there are some bad werewolves out there. But I learned a long time ago not to judge people before getting to know them. Kinda like humans some of us are just bad seeds, but I keep my mind open to everything that I can you know?" She said simply. When he kissed her hand again she felt happy.

Eden had no idea what would happen now, she bit her lip a bit and then let her lip go from her mouth. She sipped her drink and looked around a bit more, thinking about what had just happened a few moments ago. "You will have to tell me more about your people, since something tells me your kind isn't like people that do those stupid movies" She said simply and sat back relaxing. Taking a bite of her burger and looked over at him "And maybe one day you can clear up why I was sent here, not that I am complaining."

"Well if you find werewolves interesting this is the place."He says laughing as he raises his glass as a beautiful song in Gaelic is preformed and the room goes quiet at the beautiful intonations fill the room, a male baritone and a female soprano. A few of the others grab instruments and Aden stands and lifts his glass as do others. several change into their hybrid form and Aden gets you to stand up as he adds an odd mix, he begins to sing in Some native american tongue as his golden Bass drums in.

The song lasts twenty minutes and the wolves than stop and begin to finish there drinks. "Seems its time to wrap up...I can walk you home if you like" he says as he places a hundred on the table and smiles to the waitress. "Keep the change, I had a lovely evening and please complement old man Tannersby he still brews a mean ale after all these years" he says smiling as he holds his hand out for you and smiles.

Eden grew rather curious about everyone here, but she was happy about everything. Though she was curious as to why some changed in front of a human. Perhaps because the leader liked her that was why? But really she did not know. But she did as she was asked to, smiling a little bit as everything just seemed so different. When he said he would walk her home she nodded, and followed him outside. Thinking about everything, rubbing the back of her neck as she sighed a little bit.

"I have to admit I am surprised seeing anyone turn in front of a human, I thought humans were supposed to be hated. Course that is Hollywood shit talking" She chuckled a little bit and sighed. "I do have to admit it makes me curious as to what your hybrid form looks like, the form I saw was beautiful though very big. Yet beautiful at the same time" Eden said being honest and not just sucking up, she would never do that in a million years. The wind blowing a little, blowing her hair around.

"They couldn't tell in side, and the Waitress knew not to tell" he said as he reached up and brushed hair from your face. "In there the smell of wolf over powers all over smells as does food and beer." he says with a smile as he savors the late night, the moon was on its decent as Aden begins to walk you to your house.

"I try not to change much here.." He says somberly" I tend to exact justice in my Hybrid form and thus many people can't deal with me in the most comfortable form. And I think the hybrid form should be reserved for the right reasons. Only my family and those i have had the unfortunate issue of judgement. I thus took a vow at the church to not reveal my hybrid form to any one else but my mate... I would love to show you, but I took a vow" he said as he smiled and than leaned in close his face inches from yours.

"I would love to see you again," He begins to move forward towards your lips than stops " I so want to kiss you right now, but am afraid the wolf might want to take over with you" he says as his on e hand still holds yours and the other is gingerly rubbing your spine.

Eden heard what he said and nodded "Even though I would love to see that form, I respect how you see it. So I wont ever ask to see it" Eden said simply and watched as he looked over at her, her heart jumping a beat a bit. Smiling a little and felt his hand on her back, the other on her hand. Hearing that he wanted saying he wanted to kiss her and see her again. "I would like to see you again Aden, there is something about you. Like I have known you all my life" Eden said with a soft smile.

"You may kiss me if you like to, but I wont force you out of respect. Course I am sure a kiss with me would be terrible, I have never been kissed. Never made love, with how I view animals and other things. Guys back in the city thought I was insane" Eden wanted to be open and honest with him. Yet she knew not why, it was so damn strange. But she could not do much about it right now. Her eyes looking into his own, her heart beating loudly as she was so unsure what would happen.

He leans in and kisses you softly on the lips and he than presses a little more firmly as his hand goes from your back to your ass and gives it a squeeze. at that he pulls away the light hits his eyes and he pants as he looks at you.

"Sorry...But just the touch of your lips to mine sent me a quiver with lust" he breaths as he moves in closure and pulls both his arms about you as he kisses your lips again. "I have been drawn to you since last night, you healed me, me as a strange dangerous predator, than you agreed to come with me for coffee a complete stranger, than you come with me to a bar after I told you i was dangerous, You are truly amazing Eden" he says as he kisses you hard and firm, his arms wrapping about you as he holds you there.

Moments pass before he pulls away taking in deep breaths as he looks at you." I could take you right here and right now...but I will not, You don't deserve to be taken here in front of others... I will take you home and if you want me to do more I will in your home, and if Not i will leave and we can do this again some time" he says as he pulls a little away so there is space between your bodies now as he smiles.

" I must say you are the first woman to ever get my blood pumping and my heart a flutter" he says his face all red as he confessed something of him self as she lead you to the door of your house and awaited your answer.
