How about that Saturday Night Live girl. I've seen her without her glasses, and it's just not the same? And of course she looks like that newsgirl, Rudi Baktar who also wears little black glasses.

Obviously, lots of people wear glasses, not just librarians. I think it'd make a cute story about a pretty but shy girl who hates her glasses, but this guy she meets tells her how cute they make her look. Maybe he even asks her to keep them on during sex, and that's when she knows that he really means it, he really does like them on her. Maybe (for a longer story) this gives her a little more confidence in general.

To each their own. As for the SNL woman, her name is Tina Fey (the one doing the Weekend Update with that other guy). She is a fox! It may just be me, but she could give the Energizer Bunny a run for it's money. I'd like to see going without batteries though...

Congrats Parklife. Take your time - no sense in writing a story that's half-assed (you'll disappoint us readers too!). Just cluse us in as to when your done (or if you need proofreaders too - I think we're the crowd).

Okay, I just stumbled upon this thread and just had to read it in its entirety. Rather than contacts, I have long preferred glasses on the bridge of my nose because I honestly feel that I look better wearing them. I am a firm believer that eyewear can change our looks. They can subtly help the wearer to portray a look of intelligence or sensuality or naughtiness or ???

If you were trying to write a story where a woman's eyewear was an important part of her appearance, how would you describe how she looked or what the glasses did for her appearance?

Not that I am very good at such things, but in the interest of fair play, I'll start things off:

"...Rather than detract from her appearance, the brass framed oval lens of her glasses gave her a self-assured, sophisticated look and yet somehow hinted at a certain sensual heat resting within."

How about some other suggestions? Of course, you do realize that I and others may well steal from anything you choose to share.

Today, I visited my optician (I guess that is the same as an optometrist ?) to get contact lenses.
She helped me to insert the lenses. Then, I had 30 minutes time to get used to the contact lenses (and stare at her). Then, after the 30 minutes, she came close to examine my eyes ..... she had a deep cleavage, and I could look right onto her bra. (to bad, that she was wearing one - maybe I should have waited until summer, when the temperatures are really high .....)

As an addition: There is this guy. Without glasses, he is almost blind. She tells him to take the glasses off. Since he can't see anyting without glasses, he has to use his hands .... and accidently (yeah right), he touches her boobs ....

as nice as pics would be... has a story been written on this topic yet??? its finally starting to catch on i think... when my SO and i first had sex, he asked me to leave mine on.... i think now a days glasses arent big and thick framed, so now, its okay to be attracted to them... yes im rambling
