Does anyone else have a habit of becoming close friends (or more) with people at work? I've never thrown around the term in the title with anyone before, but I definitely have become super close with a co-worker of mine. My wife knows about her and is perfectly fine with us texting as long we don't cross into obvious red flag stuff.

I have become super close with a coworker. She is now my very best friend. I would love to get in her panties but that could go sideways too easily and ruin too many lives. So, I will continue to be the best friend I can be for her.

My friend and I have both confessed our love for each other. It is a real and deep affection. Sadly that is as far as it can go. Two marriages would have to end for anything to change and neither of us wants that

I know there is a love and trust I have built with my wife over the years that I would not instantly find in my friend or another woman. There's just the human side of me that likes the attention and care this friend shows, and she has these piercing blue eyes that look at me so longingly while we talk.

I don't know if there is any intentional teasing, but she has mentioned being more selective in what she wears to work because she knows she has my attention.

I have to beautiful co workers that I call my work wives.. been working with one for the past 12 years and the second for about 15 years with a 5 year break. We used to work together at one firm, I left and eventually got her to work at my current firm.

We are all pretty close and have even gone on trips together, with our spouses, no nothing has ever happened. Although I wouldnt mind if it did.

They know, and share, intimate details..one is divorced and talks about needing to get laid alot...the other is married and her husband and I are good friends.

My wife even calls them "his work wives" when talking to other people about them.

Yes I've thought about what it would be like to be more than just friends, but like others above have mentioned , dont want to ruin any marriages based on lust..

Dear friend from work. Worked together 30 plus years
She and I were lovers long ago.
Have since married others but we still keep in touch.
We have talked about the past.. keeps the memories alive for me
And hopefully her too…

My wife and I spent 13-years working for the same company but in different divisions. She started working there 18-months before I did. We both had what would be described as work-spouses.

My work wife was the lady in the cube next to mine. We became close friends from the start -- a friendship that grew to the point where we discussed topics not usually discussed at work. We never became intimate and it never leaned that way. I traveled extensively, while she only traveled occasionally. She was my anchor to HQ while I was away.

I heard rumors from colleagues that my wife and her work-husband had become intimate to some degree. What those colleagues didn’t know was the wife and I have always had something of an open marriage. The wife always had a “don’t ask, wouldn’t tell” policy, so I don’t know if they were ever intimate. For her sake, I hope they were. Why should I be the only one having fun while I traveled.
