She stood in front of the sink, washing the coffee mug. Wincing slightly, she could feel the ache of her joints from the rushed morning. Casper, as she was called, wasn't the prettiest girl on the block. In fact, she knew that was the fact. But, it didn't really matter in her eyes. Her eyes were too big for her face, giving off a doll like aura. Her lips were a soft pink by she was, by all accounts, unnatural pale. Her father had been an albino. She received his skin and eyes along with extreme sensitivity to the sun.
Not that it mattered at the moment.
“Rough week,” a male voice called out to her. She stopped, peeking over her shoulder to see who it was. Reddish eyes lightened up at the figure. It was one of the few people she actually enjoyed being around with in this office. He was one of the few who actually used their brain.
“It sure was,” Casper replied, turning off the sink and placing the mug carefully on the counter. She wiped her hands on the dark red long sleeved turtle neck shirt. Her pants were black and she sported red converse. Of course, she also was wearing a Flash belt. She had clearly changed out of her work clothes after the big meeting today. "Dawnson is on my case for those reports. I keep telling him that I can't do them until I get the fiscal report." Casper seemed to have multiple jobs. Or perhaps, she didn't have an exact job. But whatever it was, she was damn good at it.
“Any plans for the weekend?”
“Well I…” she paused in her talking. Actually, she was planning to play WOW and then D&D all weekend. Looking up at him, she smiled, “I can’t actually go home yet. I have more work to do.”
“Really? That's crazy, it’s after 7 on a Friday – go home.”
“I don’t have too much left…would you like to help? It’d just take a minute," She scratched the back of her head, giving off a shaky chuckle. "Hehe, please? I've been swamped all week and its been horrible."
“Sure, I can help,” He told her. “Let me put down my things and I’ll meet you at your desk in five.”
“Actually, I’m working in the conference room on 6th Floor, meet me there?” Casper smiled once more at him, already starting toward the elevators ahead of him. "
“Right – see you in a sec.”
Casper blew him a guess and disappeared as she turned the corner.
She sat on the conference table, legs draped over the edge as she sorted out the papers she needed, wanted or was utter trash. Some of them were trash- sexual letters she didn't know whether to be flattered or insulted by. Generally, she was insulted. Seeing the door open, she looked up, her reddish eyes widening at the thought it would be her ex- but then realized she was at work.
Kicking off her shoes, her socks were revealed to be Spider man. This girl, really, she no sense of fashion. A beer stood, opened, by her side. She looked to be slightly buzzed.
After all, Casper didn't have much of an alcohol tolerance.
