Sive's eyes grew wide as the pirate drew near. Taking a deep breath she willed herself not to step back. She watched his eyes narrow before he replied, "You and I both know there is more to you than a pole dancer and your far too beautiful for this place. You know him, and you knew her."
Sive was about to thumb her nose at him when he added, "I'm sorry about your friend." She fought to keep her face blank to show him those people meant nothing to her. Her eyes dilated for a fraction of a second before she huffed, " I don't know what you think you know, but your dead wrong, I never saw those people before tonight. Go on ask any one of the dancers here!"
She glanced away from the tall man to look at the nearest girl, silently mouthing, ("Help me ....please!")
Turning back to face Murdock Sive folded her arms across her chest and lifted her eyebrow at him. She waited hoping against hope that the girl would come through for her.
From the corner of her eye she saw Donny look straight at her before he turned around and walked out of the room. She blinked before locking eyes with Murdock again.
