I am trying to work with a quicktime movie and convert it into an mpeg...with absolutely no luck. Any suggestions?

Also, is there a good "how to html for dummies" place that I can brush up on some html basics?

Thanks! :)

I'm sure there's an HTML for Dummies book (after all, there's a "Sex for Dummies" title in the series).

HTML for dummies and everyone else.

For converting you might grab a copy of EO Video it will do all your conversions for 30 days. After that time the converter stops working, but hey if it did the job already who cares.

For converting between video file formats I use AVS video converter. It will convert just about any video file format to any other video file format, including .mov files. Its pretty easy to use.

AVS video converter

For brushing up on HTML basics try:

HMTL goodies

Hope this helps.

I should put both of those on my wish list! :D

Awesome!

Thanks for the links Ezzy & e-monster! Those look like they will help me out tremendously :)

5pintshefound ~ it can be really frustrating. I spent the better part of the day playing with different programs I already have! You should check out the links that Ezzy & e-monster posted, something might work for you too.

Virtual Dub is another good converter, but I'm not sure it can go .mov to .mpg...but it might. and its freeware.
