I'd love to....but don't think it will ever happen. People are dishonest a lot too, so you don't know who will actually turn up.

I guess I’ve been lucky, real people as described turn up. Grumpy wasn’t all that grumpy though, maybe it was an off day

Speaking only for myself, if I say coffee, then at least that's where it'll start, but where it ends is open. Dynamics and chemistry can find satisfaction in the caffeine and conversation alone, or they may demand to carry on in other ways.

I find this fascinating -
being open about sexuality is (unfortunately) so taboo in our society that some of us must maintain these online personas - so for any us to actually come out from behind the anonymity of the keyboard (let alone maintain the persona in real life) it would require the 'perfect' conditions of either being 100% discretion-and-safety guaranteed -or- our raging hormones have distorted our better judgement and we are reduced to poor life choices. I think most of those here are too intelligent to make those mistakes.

Such is life - some think about it, some talk about it, others do it.
And with this site being focused on words and ideas that get us off, I think deep down, most of us would stall at talking about (or telling stories about) meeting vs actually meeting.

And maybe for good reason - stories and imagination are the perfect fantasy - we direct the whole thing, it's all first person, and even more important - everyone smells and tastes good! Lets be honest - real life... sometimes it stinks.
