Writers of Oedipal mother/son sex stories

Mother/Son is one of the worst topics to be plagued by cliché ideas and simple narrative. I am more of an in-depth and detailed roleplayer myself, much preferring to "create" a story with someone else in real time as opposed to just on my own. I have noticed the same issues in many of the stories on here as I have in looking for potential partners though.

Try reading The Touch by GreenFingers for realism

I have been a user of Literotica for a long time but have only just joined to be able to comment on a single multiple part Novella, The Touch, by GreenFingers.
In my opinion this is one of the best stories involving mother-son and in family relationships, it is set in the 1980s and by the author's own admission, long and rambling and as it is an ongoing story needs to be read from the beginning to understand the deep relationships that develop slowly and the main character moves from son, to friend to lover.
Nobody on this forum seems to either have read this work or to rate it highly enough to give it a mention.
I believe that it probably has a mostly UK based following but I think that it is one of the best stories that I have ever read on this type of site.

Many of the good stories have gone unread, because people think that story tags are meant for showing story outline, and not to help a reader search for their stories.

I've come to similar conclusions as yourself, a theme with huge potential for variety, often spoiled by cliché and repetitiveness.

I've found a few very well done stories featuring this theme, one of them being a story involving mind control via hypnosis, and some more extra-ordinary ideas. It was a fantastically well written story, I think I found it on ASSTR. If I can dig it up, I'll post a link for all!

On another note, it's something I'd enjoy roleplaying as well, though I'm a bit picky and grouchy when it comes to partners for writing anything, I'd love to find an articulate partner to explore this theme with as well, maybe even write a story of our own!
