Right, so, I own a website. Its hosted thru yahoo. and for the past 2weeks to a month, i havnt been able to get to yahoo! small business-- the admin site of my website. i was able to get in for about an hour and a half last night, but then my brainchild of a husband closed out the site. havnet been able to get into it since... i get IE error/time out pages.. ive tried all the things mentioned on
there...i called my ISP and the tech guy did stuff on our end, still didnt help... ive been trying to find an email addy to contact yahoo tech -- but, I CANT OPEN THE STUPID ASSED CONTACT US PAGE. seriously-- this has been THE MOST annoying assed thing. do you net gurus have any suggestions for me?!? i dont know what the heck to do @ this point

oh, and on a side note, the only things on yahoo that i can get into are my mail, and yahoo games.. i cant even read the fucking news now.

and yes, ive changed the firewall, internet security settings, virus protection etc.. none of thats helped.

I'm not able to get you an email addy because that link leads to a neverending loop, but I did get this for you:
Yahoo! Small Business Technical Support: (800) 318-0783 Anytime

However, because I have no trouble accessing Yahoo pages, I'd guess you have some kind of spyware/malware that's blocking the sites. Are you using Firefox? Have you tried in different browsers? Do you have stupid shit like the Yahoo Toolbar or other toolbars on your PC? Will it work from your other computer (I know you have a laptop - do you have a desktop, too?)?

Run Spybot and Adaware and see if they can come up with something.

ETA: Next time you may want to go with hosting that doesn't have anything to do with a mainstream site and will allow you to admin your site through something like cPanel or Plesk.

I don't know either. I know that since updates to my yahoo im have been made, I've had problems too.

Only suggestion I can make is clean your cookies and history then try again.

hiya hunnie! so, I called cust support, and the guy didnt seem to understand that even tho HE could look @ the site, I couldnt... so, I decided to cancel with them, and go with someone else... {godaddy.com-- it comes highly recommended} so, now im in the process of getting my domain named released from yahoo, to transfer it to go daddy?? not sure why this has to be done, but whatever, as longa s it works. u know? i just need to get my site up and running... im really tired of foolin around with yahoo, so this will hopefully be a stepin teh right direction... i AM excited, as im getting a TON more disk space this way... yay! with yahoo i had 5gb, which was a lot but stilll not sure it was enough

thanks to you and N_J....
