Now this may be the problem. Some of us may want to see your ass. Do I have to get rude to have the pleasure?

And what do I have to do to see your--

Yes, ma'am.

Thanks Cloudy and I can see why you like them especially if they are not rude, they have super fast DSL, but they don't do Texas. They do every other state around but they don't even have Texas in the choices thingie. I will go check on Harold's link, see ya.

to repeat a post above ....

stay FAR away from AOL

Yea, I saw that and am stayin away, but how about suggestions, Cloudy had a good one but they don't come here. I looked at Harold's link but most of those have gone out of business. There was "Byte Me ISP" but since their home page was last updated May 2000 I figured their support is prolly not top of the line. Also "Jack Me Over ISP" and "Rip Me Off ISP" do not sound too promising. Verizon says they don't come here.

I thought there was lots, maybe thats why the fuckers was rude, I am afraid if I call them back I am going to tell that bitch I will rip her head off and spit down her throat.

That's exactly the problem - captive market. You have the option of DSL or cable modem, and from only one provider of each in your market. We have SBC and Comcast out here. I hate SBC with a passion - when I move, I'll be switching to Comcast.

Do you have cable? Do they offer internet? That's what I have at home and have no problems with it, pretty damned fast too.

Lisa, that's a good suggestion too, depending on the company.

When I was in Raleigh, I had mine through Time-Warner cable, and never had a bit of trouble.

No, I don't have cable, I had satellite t.v. but I looked through all 500 channels and didn't see nothing on so I cancelled, I only turn on the t.v. 2 or 3 times a week. I usually watch 15 or 20 minutes before I feel like throwing up and turn it off.
