Sam Guthrie/Cannonball
Sam sits down at the head of the table and looks at the three other assembled members. They all take their seats at the other end of the table, making it so that Sam almost has to shout to be heard. "Ok people, you are probably wondering why I gathered you all together arent you? I got a phone call earlier from a certain mansion that I am sure you are all aquainted with. It seems that there are a couple of baddies that are looking to take us out. They feel that they have a personal vendetta with us. They were not able to pinpoint who it was, but I wanted you all to be on extra alert. We do not have the same type of defenses that the mansion does so we have to be extra careful. Any questions? "

With a deep sign Rictor abruptly stands up. "Yeah, I've got a question. Why you dragged us out of bed just to tell us that?" Pulling his chair out from under him Ric begins to walk to the door. With a shrug and smug look he says "So what? We've got reports someone wants our asses. Big deal."
Rictor gave Sam an absurd look as he began to leave. He respects Cannonball but yanking him out of bed just so he could play the leadership role was insane. When Cable does it it must be important. When Xavier did it he listened and when Magneto did it he responded. But Cannonball? "Gimme a break" Ric thinks as he shifts his eyes from each of the three members.
"Is that all you wanted us for Sam?" he asks.

Sam looks over at Rictor. "Well, I felt that it was important to let you all know this. The mansion thought it was important enough to pass the information to me, so I passed it on. These criminals also seem to possess knowledge of where these headquarters are. That really bothers me that they have that knowledge, hell, we have members that have a hard time finding us. This smacks of a well organized attack being planned. If you choose not to heed my warning, then fine. But as the interim leader, it was my duty to let you all know what was going on. "
