"We can stay until Sunday. My parents will probably come up here to make sure everything is okay," I say to her. We reach the door, and I key into the building. It is a small cabin, with only three rooms. A living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom. There is a fireplace along one side of the building.

I come to for the upteenth time and see that that strange man who helped me out is no longer in the room, i slowly sit up and blink to try and see, i can't see well at all, lights and shapes, however my other senses are acute. I hear more than one set of footsteps outside the door, afraid of attack or anything more, my body, under no power of my own, morphs into lava state. i float above the bed in a sitting up position, careful not to burn the bed beneath me. I begin to wonder why i can no longer see, and why i keep fainting. Unfortunately all i remember is the fact that i fainted due to morphing, i leaned on a gentleman in the hallway and then all i felt was drained energy, then i remember a kiss...strange..i shake my head and hear the people walking down the hall enter the room.

as he walks over i see his shadow along with the form of another. i feel him embrace me and for the first time in a very long time i feel safe and comfortable. I realize that i am holding on to a man that i know nothing of, a man that i fainted on, kissed, and haven't even heard him utter his name to me. i push those thoughts out of my mind, im too comfortable right now to allow worries to slip into my mind. "what are these for?" i say as i tug on your gloves.

I look around my mouth partially open in shock. "Wow", I say quietly spinning completely around while reaching into my inner jacket pocket, pulling out a cigarette. Illyana has been through so much for her age, huh know how she feels."Wow" I repeat my self, feeling my pockets for a lighter,"Makes floating on the wind, pale skin, bat sonar and a pair of fangs seem pretty tame".

Illyana smiled and patted the side of her leg making a strange noise with her toungue. A small creature waddles out of the darkness and stands at her side looking up at her its eyes filled with respect. She motions over towards me, the creature nods and walks up to me. Its lower two cannine teeth are massive protruding from its lips like a boars tusks.

"uhgggll", it grunts before rising up to my eye line. It opened its clawed hand out to me. I swear I can almost see its mouth twist into a smile. A fire ball erupts in the creatures hand, the ball rotating in its palm at rapid speeds. I lean over lighting my cigarette.

With another grunt, the creature decendes to the ground and quickly bow's before scampering of into the darkness as I blew out my first breath of smoke."You and Xavier sounded serious back there, is there something happening" Illyana asks me sitting on a nearby rock. I look down at my feet once again feeling uncomfortable looking at her.

She wrapped her arms around me resting her head on my chest.

I put my hands on her hips pulling her closer to me. She looks up as I move a lock of her blonde hair out of her eye's. Illyana puts her hand on my chest with a soft thud over the small yellow X symbol embroided on my new jumper. "You're one of us now, whoever comes looking for you...", I muffle her talking with a kiss, that I never want to end. When I open my eyes we are standing in the dorm halls. I close the door behind me stepping into the dark, silent room.
