I think I have an D&D beginners set some where in storage. I have a Hurcules/Xena; Discworld & Witchcraft games.
But I suck at dice.
The closest table RPG I have played is Claydonia. Picture play-doh creatures moving & fighting each other. If anyone wants to see some of the things we made. I can post the pix here.
I tend not to like midevil games, though there have been a few exceptions like everquest. I have a pretty good comp and I still have trouble running Lucin, need to change my IRQs but need cash first.
I've been playing Wolfenstein, Medal of Honor: AA, and Civ 3, recently. Former console player, probably won't by another one after waisting my cash on N64 a few years ago.
Shotokan, what do u do in jersey? I live in north jersey.
Yeah, N64 was a real letdown, hey?? The 'Cube is better, but not perfect..... PS2's too much like PS1, but with a cash cow like that it's a good business model..... and the Box rocks, though - very much like a PC, and a driving gamer's dream come true.....
Arc - please feel free to tie in Jube to me and the Cabled one, I think we're still mentally connected, and we're in the woods not too far away.. I was planning on responding to Tick's call...... cause we love monkeys!!!
You don't think my monkey post in the Alps was too much, do you? I'm still laughing at it - I amuse myself so easily.....
I tried so hard to like N64. There are a few decent games- The first Zelda, Castelvania: LoD (2nd one to come out I think), Ogre Battle, Bond, Smash Bros, and Shadow Man. But it mostly blew. I've played the newer systems and they all seem to be fine.
PS2 I like but most of the good games (GTA3, Madden, etc) you can get on the PC if not now then soon. The reason I would buy a PS2 would probably be to play some of the playstation classics on it.
X-box has some strong titles, Raw and Halo, that's all I really played. How has the system sold in comparison to the other 2?
My little brother just got Gamecube for his birthday, it's good if your a 9 year old. He's got smash bros and sonic. I hear that square is gonna start making stuff for nintendo again too.
I do want to get my hands on a GA though, looks promising.
Yeah the first 4 FF's were awesome. Didn't pay attention after FF7. 2 is my personal fav. I think the Snes was the best home system that ever came out.
I played a lot of RPGs when I was younger, I think that's why I shy away from most of them now. Dragon Warrior one was my first I think. Either that or the crappy Ultima that came out for Nes. Now I'm more into action and strategy games.
Never really saw what was so good about Diablo, my friends were all ga-ga over it but I thought it was boring.
