Ah, here's the thing with the Cali station. That's spelled Kroq, it's a legendary station and gave people like Carson Daly, Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Carrola, Smashmouth, No Doubt, and Sublime popularity. When K-rock came to be in Ny a few years ago they name it K-rock so it would sound like Kroq.

I've found myself waiting until things go on sale before I get them if i can't download them. But lately best buy has had a few good specials. I bought the new moby there for 9.99 and Andrew WK for 7.99.

Check out foundrymusic.com though really great, funny stuff on it.

You guyz are talking about music without me?! *Gasp* I'll take that as an insult....lolz J/k Tick, K-rock is okay...but supposedly its dying out because of all the crappy contract agreements & what other crap they do to be stupid. Z-100 has been doing well, but recently kinda went down trying to add more hip-hop to attract the other significant people listening to hip-hop/rap. I think WLIR is doing an awesome job. I'm not saying KTU isn't around, but eh, its KTU...they'll adapt to everything and be the guys (No offense guyz, just stating the truth).

Insomnia is definately gonna be a good movie. Robin Williams' work are always great to watch. The Disney movie that I know of is The Rookie, for this year. Pretty good.

I seriously need to post something, where are you guyz going with Dazzler's issue?

I'll do something with it tommorow, kind of trying to figure out if or how mystique could access cerebro. K-rock is losing rating to WNEW between 3 - 11 with opie and anthony and ron and fez.

in the other slots though WNEW has abysmal ratings and may switch formats to country. Don't listen to KTU or z100, I'm a rock or comedy guy when it comes to the radio either that or i'll pop a cd in.

Disney puts out a cartoon every year so i figure one shoudl be coming out soon. Insomnia is gonna kick ass.

I went yesterday to see Spiderman... its ok... hes never been of my favorite Superheroes... on the other hand... the Goblin rocks... always liked that villian... * throws a pumkin/bomb at the crowd *

Blade 2 is ok... I liked the First one better...

Lord of the Rings ... well where can I start... Its incredible! Im a fen of the writings of JR Tolkien... and even thought I seldom like a movie I read the book first ( examples: Congo, Sphere, Lost World, Queen of the Damned )... this one was not the case... the movie is great, the music, fotography, Liv Tyler , oh, I could go on and on...

hey shoto, I'll checkout your cave thread, I actually have a caveman thread in the orp section that's been doing pretty well. Never been a fan of any of the Crichton movies expcet for the first Jurassic Park, but again the book was better. Lost world was a dissapointment compared to the book. The only saving grace is that I thought they would mak it in three that raptors snuck abored the boat at the end and made it to shore and had been living in teh states. I mean think about it when the boat crashed into the dock everyone was already dead but the T-rex was still locked up. Three was sooo bad though I think Spielberg wants to make another just to make up for it.

Most movies are actually adapted from books of some kind. Even the first Die Hard was a book to begin with. I'm not into Tolkein so I skipped Lord of the Rings. Queen of teh Damned was slated to go direct to video before Aliayh died, and I heard they did something really stupid with Le Stat so I didn' t bother with that either.
