The administration isn't just one person. Look beyond that at the others who come in with that person--their experience and demonstrated ability. In my perspective, it's just as well that Biden isn't bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready to think he can and will hammer through the progressive plans the BernieBros are pushing. I do think the country needs to go in that direction, but it needs to calm down, recover, and rebalance before it tries to get ambitious again with sweeping policy. With Biden, the VP pick is quite important.
