Jennifer Jones was the eldest daughter of her father George Jones. Her mother passed away when she was about five years of age. Her father remarried right away to his mistress Avry, whose daughter was only a year younger than her and was also her fathers daughter.

During her life she was always made to feel as though she wasn’t enough, never quite measured up to her younger sister Gilian. If her sister wanted something, she got it. If she wanted something, she was told to work for it.

So that is exactly what she did. She found a sense of accomplishment in being able to work odd jobs, to being able to gain lawful employment. From the age of sixteen she worked office jobs, and customer service at different companies. Her sister got a cushy job at her fathers company. From what Jennifer could tell she never went to work, but still collected a salary.

Unlike her sister, she was a straight A student, with mostly AP courses. This allowed her to get a scholarship to college. Jennifer also found that not being the apple in her fathers eye, gave her much more freedom without any monitoring. Honestly, she could have taken a whole different path in life and it still wouldn’t have changed her family's opinion. Either way, she was a burden.

Jennifer had met her 1st and only boyfriend her Senior year in high school. Now in her second year of college, they didn’t really see each other as often as she wished. But she had goals, and wanted to accomplish them, to do so required she study often, and when she wasn’t studying she was working. Once or twice a week they got to spend time together.

Like her father, her boyfriend's father was the owner of his own company. She didn’t know the name of the company, just that their house was a bit bigger than her family's. Jenny had never met him, just knew that her boyfriend was always trying to impress him.

Jenny had finished with finals early, and had secured the day off of work just for that purpose. She decided to surprise her boyfriend. Pulling up into his driveway. Jennifer made her way up to the door excited to surprise him. Her cute sundress was tight against her large breasts. She had a thick hairband holding her long red locks away from her face.

Her green eyes met with the new maids brown eyes when she opened the door. “Hi I'm..” the maid held up her hand and led her up the stairs and toward the right. Jennifer stopped and looked at her .. Um…” the maid held up her hand again and said he’s waiting on you through these doors.”

Niall - 43, fit, 6' 1" 185 lbs with dark brown hair.

Ian - 19, 5' 10", Niall's son

Niall was in his playroom, waiting. His "date" was late - and he always found that very annoying. Of course, there was a chance the she was late on purpose, intending to give him a reason to punish her - she was a naughty girl after all.

It had been a long workday, as it seemed most of them were. Running your own company seemed glamorous, but really it just boiled down to a lot of responsibility, long hours, and massive stress. His play time was his antidote to all of that, and he looked forward to it eagerly.

His company wasn't sexy - but they were the dominant heating and air-conditioning company in the area. He had built it up over many years, slowly expanding both geographically and into new product lines, until it reached its current size of almost 100 employees. He was very proud of what he had built. Proud of the homes and cars that his people bought with money that they earned from something that he had created.

If only his son, Ian, was a worthy successor. That boy was nothing but trouble. Niall had probably been too easy on him after his mother's death - and Ian's pathetic attempts to impress were somehow never quite on point. Niall wanted a son who understood the value of hard work and impressed his father by being smart and thoughtful and creative - but Ian only seemed to be able to be a sycophant and trouble maker at the same time - which was no mean feat.

Ian was, at that very moment, in the other wing of house, and feeling very proud of himself indeed. His "girlfriend" was hot, there was no doubt about that, but she was also far too focused on her schoolwork and far too withholding with her physical gifts. The girl that he was with now, not his girlfriend, seemed much less worried about where he was touching her or what was happening with her clothing - which quite delighted our young hero.

Jennifer was confused as to why Ian would be at this end of the house, and how did he know she was coming. The maid opened the door, pushed her in and shut it behind you. Her eyes went wide looking at the Red Room from 50 shades of gray updated to Red room 2.0. Stepping out from behind the corner was a shirtless tall man that made her mouth drop.

As he walked forward, she walked backwards until the back of her knees hit the plush chair forcing her to fall back on to it. Her green eyes looked up at him, he was like a tall drink of water from one of those stud calendars. "You're not Ian" was all she could get out of her mouth. If she had been standing next to him 5'3 frame would make her look like a short person.

"I" her eyes stayed locked with his as she realized her mouth was still open. God she hoped she wasn't drooling for real. "you're" one word at a time seemed to be her only way to communicate. "you" . Wow, how did she become a bumbling idiot, why couldn't she process any words out of her mouth.

She was blushing she was certain of it. This man must be Ian's father, but holy jelly roll, Ian didn't really take after him at all. "door", holy fuck what was wrong with her. Never in her life had she reacted this way to anyone before. There were many of great looking men she'd met in her life. Ian was good looking, all the girls had envied her in high school. But never had she been rendered speechless before.

"Well aren't you just a delicious little number," Niall said. "Gretchen wasn't able to make it today I guess - so she sent you in her place?"

He grabbed a handful of her long red hair, and pushed her down.

"On your knees then girl - don't make me punish you so early in our evening together."

Jennifer let out a gasp as he pushed her down. "Stop!" she yelled pulling back terrified.

"Whose Gretchen?" she meeped.

"I came to see Ian, You must be his Dad?" She pulled away from him a bit more. "I'm Ians Girlfriend. Not whoever you were waiting for. I tried to tell your new maid, but she kept holding up her hand to me."

Niall took a step back, and contemplated the situation briefly.

Ian's girlfriend eh, well, she was hot, there was no doubt about that. He had always had a soft spot for the Irish look, and this girl added a delicious looking body to the red hair and green eyes.

Ah well.

"Well, this is a bit embarrassing then, isn't it. I was expecting someone else, obviously - and my maid will be reminded of the importance of knowing who is who..."

"Apologies for the confusion. Ian is down on the other wing of the house in his room - off you go."

Jennifer watched as his whole terrifying demur changed. She got up tripping over her own feet stumbling into him. she reached out grabbing his muscled arm and blushed trying to find her footing and removed it as if she'd touched hot lava.

"Sorry" she said backing up to the door. "nice meeting you" and then she bolted out the door. Taking a deep breath in the hall she composed herself. then walked down the hall to where she knew Ians room was. There was moaning from a girl and then from Ian as well. "ooh so tight" he growled. "What the hell" she said to herself opening the door. "Ian" she said as it was opening and her eyes saw it all. "You're cheating on me?" she asked rather loudly.

"Jen" he turned his head looking at her with a shocked expression, as the girl on all fours before him did as well though she was still smiling. "Well a guy has needs, but we can still stay together, I just need some extra until you're ready." "fuck you Ian" she yelled at him. "We're done".

"Fuck you Ian" she yelled...

Well, if she would fuck me, maybe I wouldn't be here doing what I am doing right now Ian thought, as he laughed.

And with that he turned his attentions back to the girl on her knees in front of him, and that sweet tight pussy that he had been chasing for a couple of weeks now. Bitches could be so annoying...

Niall heard some kind of kerfuffle from the other end of the house, and then saw that cute girl - Jennifer maybe - running out the front door. Undoubtedly Ian had fucked up again somehow - that boy was nothing but trouble.

A week later....
Jennifer sat on the couch of her friends eating ice cream and watching some cute romcom. "I can't believe he did that to you" Jess had blurted out. "Honestly" Jennifer blurted out "It's for the best, I was right on the edge of giving in to sleeping with now that schools out, and until i get a full time job I've got nothing but time. But I did get a second interview at that really big Heating and Air-conditioning company. It would allow me the opportunity to be the personal assistant to the CEO. With that kind of edge into the business world, I could learn so much from him/her. My next interview will be with the CEO, tomorrow actually"

"Well I wish you the best of luck, but promise you'll still make time to bring ice cream" Jess laughed.

She laughed shaking her head at her friend. "I will do my best, no more boys until I get my doctorate. Only six more years of school she laughed 'I've waited this long to enjoy life, six more years will be nothing'. she thought. "The only bad thing about this position is that, although its highly salaried and i can move into my own place, I'll have to be available to them 24/7. Apparently the boss is demanding. I heard they have gone through four personal assistants in the past year alone."

Jess cringed. "Well if anyone can tolerate a tough boss its you. You're bound to win them over with your dedication."

"I hope so"

Next Day....
Jennifer arrived a half hour early for her interview with the CEO.

"Miss Jones, the CEO will see you now." the front desk receptionist said "please follow me" "Thank you" Jennifer said sweetly rising up in her green business skirt, and her white blouse.

She was taken to some beautiful wooden doors and the receptionist opened the doors ushering her in. "thank you" she said again to her as she Entered into the large office. The CEO was standing facing the large windows with his back to her.

"Hi, I'm Jennifer Jones," said firmly holding out her hand to shake his when he turned around.

Niall's day had been, well, pretty normal. Back-to-back meetings in the morning, followed by a chicken caesar at his desk and then a couple of customer calls. He had three interviews for his new PA lined up for the end of the day - he hated the American term "Executive Assistant" and hated "Secretary" even more - so he stuck with the European title of Personal Assistant.

The first two were pretty much disastrous. Sycophants both, without a single functional neuron between them. How his HR team managed to find such droll candidates was completely beyond him. He was willing to pay well, offer great benefits, and to treat someone with respect as best he was able - all that he required was brains, initiative, enough spine to stand up to his, well, somewhat unusual personality; and complete dedication to the task of making his life as easy as possible. How hard could it be to find someone like that - how hard indeed?

He was completely engrossed in the manual for a new product from Mitsubishi, a new ground source head pump, when he heard his office door open and the receptionist usher the third candidate in. Those Japanese managed to print the damn things in such small type, he had to stand by the window for the light just to be able to read it.

His brain registered the footsteps approaching and then a "Hi, I'm Jennifer Jones," before he turned around to find himself looking at a familiar face. Now where did he know this girl from? He knew without a doubt that he had seen her before - but for the life of him he couldn't remember where.

Luckily, while his brain processed the question, his body and mouth reacted instinctively. He reached out, shook her hand, and said "Good afternoon Jennifer Jones, delighted to meet you."

Jennifer's face went white. and smile dropped as he shook her hand, by the expression on his face he didn't remember who she was, was she truly that forgettable? Well perhaps that was a good thing, she smiled again at him.

Handing him her resume, he waited for her to gesture to sit down. "It's truly a pleasure, they teach a course at the University i attend on your business practices. I'm getting ready to go for my bachelors degree. If you find that I'm a good fit for the position I can count this as an internship for a full year, with your permission of course. The remaining year I can take online." Her brain was thinking 'and your asshole of a son can contest to me being always focused on school and work.

Now his brain was really working overtime. That girl clearly recognized him - her face went white as a sheet when she turned around.

Context is everything when it comes to recognizing faces, as we all know from the shock we feel when we see someone we know on the streets of a strange city. Niall knew that he had seen this girl before, but he assumed she worked for a client or maybe a vendor or something. Some connection having to do with the company.

"Sit Jennifer," he said gesturing to a chair in front of his desk. He would figure it all out later, for now he would treat her like any other interview. He sat down behind his desk, and began his usual interview routine.

"This job, this role, is very important to me. I need someone smart, someone dedicated, someone who will do their very best every day. In return, I am prepared to pay more than the job is probably worth."

"Tell me why you are the perfect person for this job Jennifer. Why should I hire you?"

His tone was maybe a bit aggressive. His manner assertive. He needed to know if this waif of a girl could stand up to him, could deal with his rather large personality. And this was how he did that - by coming out of the gates with a first question that required a real response...

She went into business mode, thankful that he didn't seem to recognize who she was. There would probably come a time when Ian would call or come to the office and ask him why he was employing his ex. She would deal with that if it came. But for right now, she wanted this job.

"Tell me why you are the perfect person for this job Jennifer. Why should I hire you?" he asked her.

"In short sir, I'm extremely reliable and detailed oriented. I'm also dedicated to anything i set my mind to do. Its my goal to ensure, i do it right the first time. I believe that privacy is an absolute requirement, You'd be entrusting me with things that may be crucial and unique structure of your business."

Her posture was sitting straight, her legs crossed at the ankles, and her hands over her right knee. She waited for the next question with anticipation.

"Very good."

"As you can probably figure out just from our quick conversation so far, I am a man with strong personality. Are you confident that you can deal with me? I can't have you having some kind of meltdown every time that I am short with you or forget to say please or thank you..."

"I don't require manners to do my job efficiently Sir, Its a position that requires efficiency and discrete delegation." she said confidently. "I'm not the shrinking down type, I tend to hold my ground." she said directly. 'Unless you're without your shirt on' she thought to herself and gave a polite smile.

Jennifer refocused herself to continue to meet his eyes. "My job sir is to make your life easier by carrying out whatever tasks you require, even if its picking up your dry cleaning, or typing an important letter for you. No job would be considered to menial, except perhaps its cleaning your toilet." she laughed a little at her joke. "sorry sir that was a joke".

"An excellent response, I must say."

"Do I know you from somewhere Jennifer? I feel like perhaps we have met somewhere, but I just can't place it I'm afraid..."

Jennifer smiled at his comment about her response. Then froze when he asked the question.

She sighed. "Yes, I'm Ian's ex. The maid showed me into your ..um room by mistake. I left shortly after discovering him cheating. But I swear I didn't know this was your company." she admitted hoping that he wouldn't see this as too complex and show her the door.

"Ah."

"I remember now." A brief and quite cryptic look flashed across his face.

"And yet you are still here. You didn't know who I was until I turned around to greet you. And yet you are still here."

"And you have repeatedly talked about first 'privacy' and then 'discretion'."

"Why haven't you run screaming into the proverbial night Jennifer, given what you know about me and my non-work related activities?"

She listened while the unfortunate event flashed through his brain.
"no, i didn't know. " she said softly
"Because sir, what you do in your private life, is your business. Everyone is entitled to their own privacy in that matter, who you love, what you do, how you get um.. satisfied. That is your private business. I do not think that defines who you are at work, nor would being the frigged ex of your son, hinder my professionalism or ability to do my job well."

"Well said Jennifer."

"Very well said."

"If you really believe that, and you can work with me knowing what you know; confident that my private life always remains outside of this building, then I think that we will get along just fine."

"Still want the job?"

"Really?" Jennifer looked surprise
"Yes please" she responded when asked if she wanted the job.
"When would you like me to start? and how would you like me to address you?

"Excellent."

"Although as you might guess, the answer would be different in a different context, here you can call me Niall. That is my name. I do not stand on ceremony in my professional life. Do you prefer Jennifer, or some nickname?"

"You can start tomorrow, if that works for you. My previous PA left rather hastily, and left behind a huge pile of unfinished work. Very unprofessional of her indeed."

"That second desk to the side of office is yours, you will sit here when we are working closely together on something. You will also have a cubical with your own desk down the hall - but you will find that I can be quite demanding and that you will end up spending much of your time in here when I am in the office."

"I will have HR get you set up in the system right now. If tomorrow works, they will meet you when you arrive and walk you through your onboarding stuff, give you a laptop, etc."

"Will that all work for you?"

"Niall it is then." She said with an upbeat tonality. "Jennifer, or Jen, or J, whatever you find most coinvent" I answer to just about anything.

"Tomorrow will be perfect, What time works best for you?" Jennifer asked lightly.

"Yes Sir, I mean Niall, I'll arrive early, to get started with the paperwork and onboard stuff." she said with a smile.

"Thank you very much for this opportunity Niall, I won't let you down." She said with a rare confidence most her age wouldn't have.

Jennifer left the office and called her best friend advising her that she got the job. She left out the fact that it was Ian's father, and despite their unfortunate mishap, was quite happy that he seemed very professional, and wasn't holding what happened with his son against her.

The next day....

As promised Jennifer arrived early and got her HR paperwork complete. She was working on the pile of unfinished paperwork when Niall showed up to work. "Anything I can get you Niall?" she questioned as she saw him arrive.

"For now, finish up your onboarding stuff. Make sure that you read and understand the policies on travel and expenses - you are going to be doing a ton of that work and as the boss, I need to be beyond reproach from a policy point of view."

"When you are done, pick up your laptop, and spend an hour or two getting it set up and organized the way that you want. The IT guys can help, if you have questions."

"Then come to my office and you and I can get to know each other a bit more. I will have several tasks ready for you then."

She smiled. "The onboarding is all complete, The It guy is on his way, I've read the Policies on travel and expenses, including the added notation that if the time and date doesn't appear on the recent they will need to date , time, sign and include a phone number if it needs to be verified. I've almost finished with the work left by your previous. As soon as the IT guy is gone I'll be in." She advised very professionally.

"I will see you in your office an about an hour or so." Jennifer added.
