Honestly ... does no one get sarcasm or irony? *sigh*

I wish I could quit you, Litiots. But I'm too damn obsessive to leave a story unmarked or a funny post unresponded to.

Bad 80s cover band ... makes me think of just about any scene of the Wedding Singer ... "Do you really want to hurt me ...".

And as for bad beer ... all beer is bad. That's why I drink it, because after one or two drafts, I think to myself "This still tastes like crap" and stop drinking ... saves money and hangovers. Unfortunately, I'm learning that a glass of red wine every now and again is quite nice ... and the stuff in the box is not an option.

As for today ... the house must be cleaned (I mistook a dust bunny in the corner for one of our cats ... things have definitely spiralled out of control).

Of course beer is bad. But there is bad and then there is Budwiser. Ugh.

Ah, red wine. I do love the Shiraz from Australia.

Watch those dust bunnies, I've heard some have fangs. And you know, I've got enough cat hair around this house to make several new cats.

Let me actually say something pertinent to the original intent of this thread.

There's no doubt in my mind y'all work hard at trying to help the writers here. They're adults and they're gonna do what they're gonna do. And sometimes, they just don't take your suggestions.

I've been an editor and it can be both a thankless and rewarding job. If there is a shortage of editors, I'll tentatively toss my own hat in the ring to help out. I am a recovering journalist and, for the most part, I have mastered the declarative sentence. I'd be happy to help out in any way.
