I have seen bits and pieces of videotapes and one I saw on TV stands out. The car was driving slowly through a mob of people, until it was attacked by those people using clubs and similar objects. The driver accelerated then, and crashed into a parked car, which was propelled into a group of people. That was where and when most of the injuries occurred. If the driver was just trying to escape the assault of a mob and didn't try to run into anybody, it was probably not any kind of a crime, at least not by him. That's why I say we should let the courts, who will presumably see all the videotapes, sort it out. We should also go by the custom of innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The demonstrators were leaving the area, walking in the street at the southern, downhill end of the street. They were leaving the demonstration area, which was a good six blocks away. They were one block south of the pedestrian mall crossing. The death car appears one block north of the pedestrian crossing, uphill. The car sits there, idling for several seconds. Then he revs his engine, races down hill, plows into the people and two cars. Then he goes into reverse, racing, in reverse, back up the street and turns a corner heading east. It's quite clear what happened.

Did you actually see all that on a videotape? Or were you there to see it. I have to admit I wasn't there, but I haven't seen that much detail on tape either.

A little while ago, I was looking for links, especially with videotapes, and I ran across a really odd one. Some people were claiming nothing happened and the whole thing was some kind of Zionist conspiracy to make the Nazis look bad, or something like that. I didn't believe a word of that, but it did get me thinking about something.

It seems like almost everybody but I has some kind of axe to grind. As for me, I say a pox on all their houses. If these two gangs of thugs had completely killed each other off, the world would be a better place. They didn't, though, so now they are all lying in their teeth about what happened, and all that is known is that something certainly did. The videotapes are not fake, and they show the car - call it the death car if you want to - run into a parked car.

And that raises a question. Why did the driver do that? He risked injury to himself and damage to his vehicle. His car could have been incapacitated, leaving him at the mercy of a mob of armed thugs who were looking for trouble. Even if he got away from them. the car would have been easy to spot because of the severe damage. Well, since he would not have done so deliberately, although he might have been some kind of psycho who meant to run over as many people as he could, he must have lost control of his vehicle for some reason.

What would have caused that? It could have happened if he was attacked by that part of the mob that was behind him, which was what I seem to remember seeing on a televised videotape. The driver would have stomped down on his gas pedal, careened forward, hit the parked car and started the chain reaction which resulted in the carnage. If that route was blocked by wreckage, he would have then backed up to escape, and the tapes I have seen show him doing just that, with some kind of auto part hanging from the front bumper.

If things did happen as I describe, I would have a problem declaring the driver to be guilty of any kind of serious crime. One can't really be faulted for trying to save his own life.

So, as I say, let's wait until this case goes to court, rather than finding the driver guilty without knowing everything about the case.

Profit-making network dynamics are strictly Darwinian. Media survive as long as they have audiences. Lose the audience and you're gone.

FauxNewz shows their made-up bullshit to a dying demographic. (An ex-exec told some years back of being ordered "from the top" to "make stuff up.") Most in USA who watch TV watch something other than Faux, so other media present stuff that they'll like. It's not mainstream media who are lefty, but Americans.
