You are MINE (closed)

"I only wish this incident made my job as easy as it makes yours, Greg..." Lance started as he reached out to shake Greg's hand. "Regardless of his history and their past history, she should have let the damn biker crowd around her settle this, or me for that matter. Lord knows I love to bash some skulls. As far as Amber goes, she's in my office, and is going to stay there until I've decided what to do about her."

Lance... What you are going to do old friend is I take her statement assess her mental state and let her have the night off.

Greg's face shifted to full cop.

I was already headed here to give you the heads up on the uncle and brothers she listed as family. Lance... You can't hurt this one. She isn't the type to call cops and if she calls even one of them here my friend... An army won't be able to save your ass.

Lance had known Greg for a long time, long enough to recognize the many faces of the man. "I appreciate the advice Greg, but leave her to me. You just take care of Vince, alright?"

Reluctant as he was to do so, Greg simply nodded and extended his hand. Lance gladly shook the man's hand and met his eye once more. "Enjoy your night of paperwork, Greg." Lance said with a wry smile before releasing the man's hand and turning back towards his office. He took just a second to make sure that Violet and Sapphire were handling the crowd, cops, and situation well enough before moving towards his office, which was still being guarded by the two bikers. "I appreciate your help guys. Anything you need tonight is on the house tonight, and this is to show my appreciation." He gave each man a hundred dollar bill and sent them on his way.

Lance wasn't sure what to expect when he opened his office door, but it didn't change the fact that he still had to go in there. He opened the door and closed it behind him. He turned towards Amber and lifted a hand to cut her off, just in case she wanted to say something.

"Before I say anything else, I want you to remember one thing, Amber." Lance paused there after putting emphasis on the name he chose to call her. He took a step towards her, but his face was all business. "I could have slammed that pretty face of yours into that brick wall out there, the cement wall in here, or this door, but I didn't. Hell, I could have done just about anything I wanted with you, and you were in no position to stop me...but I didn't." By this point, Lance had reached his desk. He opened one of the drawers, pulled out a pen and a pad of paper, and set them down on the desk facing her. "I'm willing to forget that little stunt you pulled last night and give you a clean slate, but if anything like this happens again, I will kick your ass to the curb faster than you can believe."

Lance paused there, giving his words time to sink in. "Anyway, cops need a witness statement. Write down what happened, I'll sign off as a witness, and we'll call it a night."

She just sat there for the longest time staring. Trying to make the memories go away. She stared st the paper the wrote it all down. Vince grabbing her the lick the memories the attack... At least what she could remember of it and shoved the paper back over to Lance.

I will be asking Greg if they got this... In my handwriting. In that moment it truly wasn't a distrust of Lance but a distrust of all men except for her uncle and brothers.

Amber's words pulled a chuckle from Lance as he watched her push the pad of paper towards him. He picked up the pen and signed the bottom as well before lifting his gaze to meet hers once more. "You are free to do whatever you want, including watch me give it to him on any one of the cameras that have a clear shot of him right now." He nodded his head towards the row of screens once more, but didn't say another word. He simply rose up to his full height once more and left the office.

Lance walked straight towards Greg, keeping in full sight of the cameras that he knew were there. "Got your statement for you Greg. If you have any questions, feel free to stop by any time. If there's nothing else though, I'm going to close up shop for the night."

After the two friends parted ways, Lance turned his attention back to the task at hand. "Last call everybody! Last round is on me then we're closing for the night!"

With that last bit of business out of the way, Lance headed back to his office once more. "You've got the rest of the night and tomorrow off, Amber." Lance offered up as he stepped into his office. He waited at the door, holding it open for her so that she would have to pass by him to leave, which he clearly expected her to do.

She watched the cameras seeing the body gone finally and moved to hurry out the door. She could have cared less about Lance her mind was that terrified young girl escaping Vince.

Lance was strongly tempted to grab Amber's arm as she walked by and remind her what would happen if anything like this were to happen again. He elected not to, though, because that was certainly not the easiest way to start off with a clean slate. He'd make it clear to her in the near future who the boss was, though, just not tonight.

She hurried out of his office and stopped looking around till she saw Greg. She calmed but also tensed as she saw be was reading the statement. She could see the venom in his eyes till they met hers. She had never been one for cops but in this moment she actually felt she could trust a cop for the first time in her life. She wasn't sure but suspected his final barked out orders of two cops on that slimes door 24/7 was maybe his way of telling her she was safe. She found herself wanting to take him up on a previous offer to drive her home.

Lance let his gaze follow Amber until she passed out the door and out of his sight. He shook his head then, but simply turned his mind towards the task at hand. "Alright guys, closing time!" Despite a few groans around him, none of the customers were brave enough to challenge him on this, and soon enough the bar was empty except for the three employees.

"Alright ladies, clean up and head home. Take tomorrow off. I'll take care of the details."

"But Lance..." Violet said, stepping forward, "What about..."

"God dammit, Megan!" Lance literally shouted, knowing that him calling her by her real name for the first time since her first week would shut her up. "I said I'd take care of it

When neither girl challenged him further, Lance walked back into his office and closed the door.

She sat in her car past and present all screaming for attention. Her phone buzzed... Who would try to contact her. Lance... No he wouldn't care... Greg to see if she was alright? Or that almost unnerving ability of her uncle to know when something was wrong with one of his family. She reached for her phone to look...

The next week went by pretty quick. Lance took it easy on the girls for a bit. He always did whenever something like this happened. He was just glad that it didn't happen all that often. He was genuinely glad to see Ruby back at work after what he'd done. Sure, he was a creep that liked to possess and use his female employees, but he didn't normally cause them any physical pain, well anything out of the norm that came with his size.

The week was pretty normal, except for the attention that the customers tended to pay to Amber, and the strange way that they acted. It was normal to see men on their knees around her when she was out on the floor, or swarmed around her when she was behind the bar. Hell, two guys in particular seemed to be hanging around her a lot. One of them a guy that he hadn't seen around the bar until recently. He had short brown hair, green eyes, and an average build. Hell, if not for the fact that he was always around Amber, Lance probably wouldn't have even looked into the guy and found out that his name was Ramiro Damiano, a former acquaintance of Amber.

The importance of Ramiro paled in comparison to the other guy, Greg. Greg never used to be around this much, and never before had he paid so much attention to any of his other staff members, let alone been frequently spotted on his knees in front of them. Ramiro was usually right there with him, and all three of them seemed to enjoy the arrangement. He later confirmed this with Greg over the phone, at which point the man actually told him that he should give it a shot. Could you even believe that? The thought of submitting to one of his employees only made him angry, especially after what had happened in his office only a week ago.

Despite his obvious feelings about what had happened in his office last Friday, it was hard for Lance to not be at least a little jealous at the attention Amber paid to those guys, even if it was in a context that he disliked. It likely just had to do with the fact that she was the one person he couldn't have.

"Hmm, what if I just pretend to be interested...just for a bit...until she lets her guard down..." Lance spent the early morning on Friday pondering the situation, and was still undecided on the topic as he opened the doors for business that afternoon.

Gabriella was walking up to the door with Ramiro in tow as well as Greg while she was talking on her phone to her Uncle.

Oh bullshit you had no idea he was here...et me see coin toss Ramiro called heads Bastien called tails and the quarter landed in showoff little brat Braddock's whiskey. You think anything could be wrong with mg Ram and my cop always with me after that night. If and that is a big if Vince is thst stupid to show back up I promise I will let Greg and Ram take care of it. Tell uncle bye bogs... Time to go to work.

She hung up the phone and stuffed it in her leather jacket pocket feeling what had to be what Greg and Ram were plotting earlier in the moment. The minute they saw Lance looking st them they both put an arm around her with their hands on opposite asscheeks and both leaned in to kiss her neck as if ignoring Lance's stare.

The words that Lance had mused with earlier flew out the window when he saw Amber, Greg, and Ramiro out of one of the front windows. Part of him was jealous when he saw the two men with their hands on her ass lean in to kiss her neck, but the larger part of him was pissed off. She was supposed to be his slut to use as he wished.

Lance moved quickly towards the door jerking it open while the three of them were still standing in front of the window. "You're late, Amber!" Get your ass in here and get to work! Now!" He waited at the door until the trio made their way towards it. "You go ahead and clock in. I need to have a word with these two." Lance said to Amber as he blocked the door, forcing the trio to part. After she walked past him he moved to block the door once more. He turned his attention to Ramiro first.

"You can hang around outside if you want, but we're gonna be opening late today because of her. Your choice." Lance spoke matter-of-factly, before turning his attention towards Greg, not really giving the chance to object. He stood there for just a second, waiting for the man to give him and Greg a little bit of space before he started to speak again.

"Look, Greg, I was thinking about the conversation we had on the phone the other day, and I sort of had something planned for tonight. I was going to do it after we closed, but I changed my mind. I'm going to do it before we open, alright?"

Greg knew exactly which conversation Lance was talking about, and he looked at Lance for a long time before speaking. "I hear ya, Lance, just don't do anything stupid, alright?"

Lance just cracked a smile and nodded. "I won't do anything stupid. I promise." The two men shook hands before Greg turned to walk back down the sidewalk. Lance headed back inside, letting the door close behind him. He locked it and pulled the blinds on all of the front windows, making sure nobody could see inside. Lance checked his watch to see how much time had passed before he looked up.

"Take a break, Ruby..." Lance started simply as he turned towards the small redhead. "We're going to be opening late today." Without another look at Ruby, Lance headed towards the employee area where he saw Amber standing at her locker with her back to him. He moved quickly towards her, dropping one hand to grab her ass as he leaned in to kiss her neck. As he did so, he used his size and weight advantage to push her forward against the row of lockers.

"What makes them so goddamn special, Amber?" He hissed against her ear.

For a moment Greg was a little more concerned about Ramiro. He knew the guy didn't trust Lance and be knew Lance wouldn't stand a chance if Ramiro acted on that little bit of attitude. Ramiro growled but at Greg's nod took a couple of steps back. Whatever she had planned for this slime better happen or he might have to break him in half and ship him back for his brothers to finish.

She turned her head looking into his eyes.

They know how to show respect and they know their place. Unlike you now remove your hand Lance before you lose it.

She wasn't scared of anything or anyone and certainly not some womanizing slime like Lance.
