Sorry, couldn't think of a simpler way that accomplished all of my goals and for the moment kinda sorta following what Jeff seemed to have planned.

The bomb needed to go off and do enough damage to force the Outsiders to be formed as something outside the League because the League is going to be under intense scrutiny going forward.

As far as I could tell your solution would work, and worse even if it didn't there aren't a lot of problems that two lanterns and one superman can't solve. Hell I posted a pic earlier of a greenlantern chaining a fuck mothering planet to Superman to move it. Even if the forcefield was bad to touch those three could move something to solve it.

And Beastboy doesn't have any special defenses, being that close would probably incinerate him so I needed a plausible reason he survived since named characters don't die in the prologue for obvious reasons.

Like Tighty said, I'm going to leave it in peace and go, but before I do, I just wanted to share this with you -- the last message I sent Gypsy before I quit the RP, the one she ignored while continuing to post in the OOC to almost specifically Sean's posts. I did try to make peace:

We've both become rather annoyed with each other recently, maybe even bordering on angry, and I can't help but feel like its going to ultimately unravel the RP unless we can clear the air and get back to a position where we are no longer angry at each other.

When you wanted to leave before, I tried to convince you to stay because you're an awesome writer and a great addition to our crew. That remains true. I feel like we're being petty and childish for even letting ourselves argue over a fictional character in a fictional setting.

I think you got angry when you felt I was dismissing the dangers involved with skydiving and scuba diving, and I know I sure got angry when you made assumptions about my real life which you had no way of backing up. We both got angry. But can we make amends and continue to be friends?

I'm sorry I thought Lady K having fear in her eyes was no big deal. I'm sorry it caused such a rift. Honestly, I wish I could go back and prevent the whole fucking thing from happening. It's not just effecting us, either -- now we have Tighty worried the RP will fail, and I'm sure others may have similar feelings. This is not the first time an argument between writers has threatened to destroy an RP.

Please copy and paste your characters so you can update them, but I will be copying them all to the second post over there to keep things simple. no more digging through five pages to see if so and so is taken (for new players) or which version of Flash we're dealing with yadda yadda. It also frees us up to be a little chatty since everything vital will be in teh first three or four posts.
