The New York Times published an important article in today's newpaper (they made the link to the story subscription-free)

Israel Loosened Its Rules to Bomb Hamas Fighters, Killing Many More Civilians

Surprised by Oct. 7 and fearful of another attack, Israel weakened safeguards meant to protect noncombatants, allowing officers to endanger up to 20 people in each airstrike. One of the deadliest bombardments of the 21st century followed.
Read the article to follow the demise of the country of Israel from a first-world nation to the barbaric shithole it has become today.

Virtually every paragraph documents some atrocity.

This was the paragraph that raised the hackles on the back of my neck:

The New York Times said:
The military struck at a pace that made it harder to confirm it was hitting legitimate targets. It burned through much of a prewar database of vetted targets within days and adopted an unproven system for finding new targets that used artificial intelligence at a vast scale.

They used an unproven artificial intelligence system to discern bombing "targets".

I predict there will be no peace in the Middle East for the remainder of our lives.

Outstanding, seems the savages are finding the fuck out.

Ok, fair.
But why then are trusting Palestinian sources no problem? Double standard, isn’t it?
DN is not interviewing official spokesmen of Hamas. They are Interviewing random Palestinians on the ground, standing amidst the rubble of recent bombardments. There is no better way imaginable to get the real picture of what is going on.

Good luck finding someone completely without any bias. Everyone has their agenda.
That's essentially true, but not for the reason you think.
When Netanyahu decided to begin his splendid little genocidal adventure in Gaza, his AIPAC slush fund in the United States went into full spin mode for two solid weeks about how poor beleaguered Israel had been done wrong.

AIPAC muzzled virtually the entire legacy and social media: the New York Times (under new ownership), the Washington Post (owned by Bezos), CNN (also under new ownership), Twitter (Musk, of course) as well as Zuckerberg Meta operations (Facebook and Instagram).

The Israelis were unable to muzzle TWO detractors who refused to drink the Mossad Kool-Aid: Al-Jezeera and TikTok. Al-Jazeera was brought to heel by having them declared "enemies of the (Israeli) state" which cut off the majority of their access to news on the ground.

But TikTok has proven to be a far harder nut to crack. Based in China, it's not subject to outright AIPAC bribery and/or flattery like most social media powers. TikTok users produced hundreds of videos detailing Israeli atrocities on a daily basis (Israeli soldiers carving Star of David onto a prisoner's back, nine months of "testicle torture" for a father whose only crime was visiting a hospital where his amputee son lay dying on the day Israeli troops just happened to invade it, holding impromptu disco dances in Islamic worship centers because these centers had state of the art sound systems, etc).

TikTok skews to a much younger audience, and many were confused that what they were actually seeing with their own two eyes contradicted much of the force-fed Mossad pablum. Pandemonium ensued.

Because the could not influence TikTok, AIPAC demanded....and got....the US Congress to pass a bill declaring that TikTok was a "security threat to this country" (conveniently overlooking the fact that it is far more of a threat to Israel than it would be to America).

Today the last hospital in northern Gaza was destroyed, five medical workers killed.

And where else are you even seeing this depth of coverage?!
