I am a MASSIVE incest fan but I have to say I find the whole mother-forced-to-sit-on-son's-lap thing a weird turn-off. It's about the only sub-genre of mother/son incest stories that I tend to avoid.

I don't see it as a turn off necessarily, but it seems silly and implausible that someone can have sex in the same car as someone else and they don't know...

Course incest itself is implausible, so I guess we all have our individual "reality acceptance" meter

I also don't like the dad being the cuck theme. Dad being a clueless foil while mom and son play feeds that E/V edge and gives that thrill of being caught, but I don't go for the father knowing and being emasculated humiliated.

What I have done is given a couple of scenes a bit of an angrier edge. Dad's a tool, talks down to the mother, acts like a "Man's man" so I throw in some "Yeah, such a man his wife needs her son to satisfy her" dialogue, but said to the son in the midst of.

I agree to an extent on parent/child even when -as the rules decree here-the child is 18+ it just seems like an abuse of power...but of course that's reality. Having said that I always make the daughter the instigator in dad/daughter because dad being aggressive is to rapey for me. Mom/son I generally have the son interested, but holds back because I use conflict in my stories so he spends time thinking its not right etc...then he gets some type of signal from mom she'd be fine with it so I try to make it an equal meeting of desires.

As for the 40 looking 20...

I disagree for two reasons. First this is all fantasy and in fantasy people don't want to hear about sagging breasts some extra weight, love handles, beer guts on the guys(because a lot of 'dads' here still have a six pack stomach and built like a gym rat) its escapism along the lines of who wants to write about a guy who has a 3.5" dick?

The other reason is why can't a 40 year old look 20? I go to the gym(well used to with the covid keeping them closed) three times a week, and let me tell you, I see a lot of 40ish women rocking yoga pants and sports bras and they look damn good.

There are plenty of men and women in their 40's and up that are in fit shape.

I've done things like adding a little grey to the hair of the mom, or say something like her breasts 'weren't sitting as high as they used to, but were still winning the war with gravity" I'll say a woman "might have a little more on the hips than they used to" but I never go into actual out of shape and describing muffin tops or rolls or saddlebags etc...for men or women...just not sexy.

But all of what I said is my opinion and style and we all have different tastes so there's no wrong or right here.

I'm in the same boat as you ( and a large segment of the readership ) when it comes to the double standard of age-difference. I have no problem having an older woman be the aggressor in a story, but it feels creepy when an older man is the instigator. Boss, father, uncle... Even a rando where there's no obvious power dynamic still feels off.

In my experience, the readership always prefers a somewhat reluctant older protagonist regardless, but that preference is especially strong when it's an older man and a younger woman.

The exception to that seems to be same sex. From my limited writing/posting experience and a lot more looking through the comment portal back when it updated regularly, there doesn't seem to be much of a prejudice against older men/women pursuing younger lovers when it comes to same sex. Seems to me that there's actually a healthy readership for that particular kink.

Its funny because in my story "Karma" which is a romance(but placed in mature because way back in the day you told me a similar story would be better in mature than romance and it was a big hit so...) and its young waitress and a mid forties widower who begin to go from friends into more.

When she ends up moving in with him because she has no where to go the flirting gets heavier and he takes her to dinner and she's thinking this is it...they get back home and he thanks her for a great night and goes in his room

So she ends up realizing he wants it but doesn't want to seem like a dirty old man(which he's mentioned a few times even when they talked a lot in the diner) so she goes in his room and takes charge, letting him off from the guilt he might be taking advantage.

The story did very well(mature is great for strokers and romance) but I always remember one comment

Typical, rich old guy with fake nice guy act beds the hot young thing.

I agree. If I wanted a story about a 40-something woman who looked 27, I can find that on any Pornhub like site. I much prefer it when its an Ann Bancroft in the Graduate type who looks her age but is also fit and attractive. But I tend to prefer the stories that have more of a semi-realistic tone. Characters who act what I'd consider to be fairly normally, instead of being nymphomaniacs who are walking around in nothing but a thong and a t-shirt that's too small in front of family members from the start of the story.

It can happen, and I used that in my series Siblings with Benefits, but GSA is predicated on siblings or parents/children who were separated at a young age and reunited years later...there would be that sexual attraction because they never bonded as family.

This thread is very entertaining. It's always interesting to me how strongly people feel about others' kinks.

I'm an extremely flexible incest story reader. I enjoy a wide variety of stories even though I don't actually fantasize about this stuff in real life and have never participated in it. More than any other category of erotica, it's pure fantasy for me. That's why I don't at all mind the mom on lap stories, or even more implausible scenarios. And I'm definitely big on the "hot 40-something mom with tight, youthful body", probably because that IS what I'm attracted to in real life. But it's all good.

To me, it's all in how the author does it. If it's done well, I can be hooked. Doesn't really matter what the scenario is, who the aggressor is, whatever. That's true for incest and for all the other categories.

I'm a newbie author, just had my first story published recently, but I've been around this site, reading and reviewing stories for well over a decade now. I float between two categories, Loving Wives and my ultimate favorite genre, incest. I wanted to offer my own 2 cents on what are my favorite incest stories here on the site. Some have already been mentioned, and I have to absolutely agree with. Generally, I like both stroke & romance stories, but I do prefer those that actually tell a story, and take the time to make me care about the characters.

"Words on Skin" by PacoFear and "Beyond the Borderline" by CPBaudelaire, are among the best at accomplishing this task. However, I'd also like to add "As Fate Would Have It" by Mejau71 and "Abandoned" by Jessy19 for consideration as well, as these were two of the first incest stories I ever read on this site. AlwaysWantedTo did have some classic stories, and my favorite of his was "It Started With the Floors".

When it comes to stroke stories, I agree that MentalCase's "Just the Six of Us" is right up there with some of the best, but I felt the author really screwed the pooch with the direction he took toward the end of it (the last two chapters). It was a complete 180 degree turn, and in my opinion led to a really half-assed ending. Some of my favorite stroke stories are:

It was a story about a mother who came to stay with her son and daughter in law and for whatever reason didn't have any clothes....I don't know if the airport lost her luggage, if there was an accident, whatever but the wife offered to the mother in law to let her wear anything that was in her dresser b/c they were similar sizes.

I specifically remember the daughter in law and son being shocked when they saw an upskirt flash of the mother and she was wearing a pair of the wife's sexier underwear.

Congrats. I have a story that's been sitting in the draft stage but I can't work up the nerve to hit the button to submit it. Not sure why I fear rejection so much. The comments can get nasty, even for stories that are fairly well written. I don't want to turn feedback off, though.

I had to look around to find the Quarterback story. It's out there but under a different author's name. I never would have found it without the recommendation, so thanks for that.
