Do you recognise those important, significant moments in life by a song?

Do certain songs remind you of where you were when ...?

I was just curious to know. Also, it's a way of getting turned on to music that may have passed us by.

For example, janeyl's post about Turin Brakes, Underdog opened up a new avenue for me.

So, gimme your songs ... and tell me why.

Toploader, Achilles Heel is my Kosovo song, 2001.

Pursuit of Happiness- Kid Cudi

It was a song i heard when i was at my lowest point, it inspired me to be me and to do what i love.

I'm always pre-occupied with Nine Inch Nails, but right now, I have a special affinity for the songs "Were In This Together Now," and "The Day The World Went Away."

If a person could figure out MY correlation between those two songs, they would crack the code to my soul.
